Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q563407). German • English. The organ works by Gregor Lehr (1906–1986), cathedral organist and master of music at the cathedral in Worms, were primarily intended for use in church services: these pieces were performed by the composer himself at church services in Worms at the cathedral of St Peter and at the church of St Paul, as well as in church concerts. Until now these musical scores were only accessible to a few former pupils of Lehr. These pieces composed in late Romantic style consist mainly of chorale preludes, along with some variations, interludes or postludes and chorale fantasias.

Instrumental Duet Alto Saxophone,Instrumental Duet,Organ - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.532885 Composed by Therese Brenet. Contemporary,Spiritual,Standards. Score and parts. 21 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #119469. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.532885). This work was inspired by the poem of the same name by Keats. It was written originally for saxophone and organ by its comissioner the saxophonist Paul Wehage and Françoise Lvéchin-Gangloff, the organist at the Church of Sain Roch in Paris where the work was premièred on February 12, 2012 It also exists in a version for saxophone and piano and for saxophone and string orchestra (with harp). The orchestral version was recorded on Thérèse Brenet's CD Le Livre de L'Harmonie du Monde on JTB-Prod (http://www.jtbprod.com/llhm.htm ) The work is not a literal illustration of the poem, but an evocation of emotional states between a Romantic literary work and the music which the writing inspired more than a century and a half later, seen through a Modern musical aesthetic. I. - A thing of beauty...(Une belle chose... ) - 1’45 II.- ...is a joy for ever... (...est une joie pour toujours...) - 1’ III. - its lovelyness increases (...son charme s'amplifie...) - 4’ IV. - it will never fall into nothingness... Organ: 3-staff - Intermediate SKU: LO.70-1317S Composed by Emma Lou Diemer. Sacred. Sacred Music Press #70/1317S. Published by Sacred Music Press (LO.70-1317S). UPC: 000308048964.This collection of Psalm Interpretations for Organ features eight original compositions that reflect the spirit of verses from selected psalms. It is suggested that the psalm verses associated with each setting be included in the congregational leaflet or printed recital program. For variety, the entire psalm could be read before the playing of the musical setting. These settings were suggested by and written for Dr. Joan DeVee Dixon, Professor of Music at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland. Dr. Dixon also serves as organist and director of music at the historic Emmanuel Parish in Cumberland, Maryland. The work was commissioned by Dr. Alvin C Broyles, retired senior research associate of Exxon Production Research Company. Pipe Organ - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1393797 By Dr. Sheri Masiakowski. By Sr. Mary Hueller OSF (Sr. Maurelia Hueller OSF). Arranged by Dr. Sheri Masiakowski. 20th Century,Sacred. Full Performance. Duration 165. School Sisters of St. Francis #977269. Published by School Sisters of St. Francis (A0.1393797). Sister Mary Hueller (1921-2017), DMA from the Eastman School of Music, colleague of Sr. Theophane Hytrek OSF, was professor of organ, piano, and liturgical music at Alverno College (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) throughout her professional career. At various times Sister Mary chaired the Fine Arts Division, coordinated the Music Department, and served on many college committees. After Sr. Theophane Hytrek's passing in 1992, Sr. Mary succeeded her as organist at St. Joseph Chapel for several decades. “Tribute†was written in response to Sr. Theophane Hytrek’s choral compostion “Canticle of the Creatures†(SSAA) sung by the School Sisters of St. Francis choirs regularly for community celebrations since it was written in 1949. The choral composition will soon be published in both SSAA and SATB arrangements. “Tribute†is of intermediate difficulty but has a challenging pedal part. At the time of composition Sr. Mary had learned to use Finale software and engraved the original score herself. This editor enjoyed spending time with Sr. Mary once a week as tutor while she developed this skill. Unfortunately the original computer file is no longer available and extant copies are not of sufficient quality to publish. Dr. Masiakowski produced the following edition based on Sr. Mary’s score. Fingering and pedal suggestions are those of Sr. Mary Hueller. We invite you to browse other creative works by the School Sisters of St. Francis on our website: https://www.sssf.org/SSSF/Our-Global-Impact/United-States/Music-Ministry/Catalog-of-Music.htm  Further information about our offerings is available from Dr. Sheri Masiakowski, curator of the Heritage Music Collection, at smasiakowski@sssf.org.
