This song musically expresses what the title states. It is well suited in teaching students how action underscore with a chase, running, or searching scene work. Likewise, this piece can be used as an underscore for such scenes. The score has the timer marking used when composing for film. The timer adjusts to the tempo. Because timing is of the essence in film scoring, theses markers are helpful to the composer in adjusting tempo as needed and for overall ending time. his piece is on the upcoming neoclassical and cinematic album entitled Pathos set for release on 11/29/2019. Organ - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.912488 Composed by Thomas R. Schadl. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score. 20 pages. Thomas R. Schadl #3241715. Published by Thomas R. Schadl (A0.912488). Fantasia And Passacaglia On A Mighty Fortress Is Our God for organ is written in celebration of the five hundredth anniversary of the Reformation in Europe. Consisting of the free-form introduction and passacaglia, the piece is based on Martin Luther's hymn tune, and is written in a modern musical idiom that somewhat resembles the style of Max Reger's and Louis Vierne's works for organ, take for example Reger's Fantasia On A Mighty Fortress Is Our God, and Vierne's Sixth Organ Symphony. The Fantasia is suitable for recital use, and employs a wide range of organ registrations that displays various tonal colors and sound intensities. The introduction starts with full of energy and concludes with softer registrations. The passacaglia starts off quietly and builds up sound intensity toward its conclusion, symbolizing victory of good over evil. The metronome marks and organ registrations on some pages are suggestions only, because each organ has different tonal qualities and the acoustics in buildings and halls may influence how organist perform the piece. Fantasia And Passacaglia On A Mighty Fortress Is Our God may take anywhere between thirteen and fifteen minutes to perform.

Organ - intermediate to advanced - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q2375 Composed by Hermann Schroeder. This edition: Sheet music. Downloadable. Duration 11 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q2375. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q2375). Hermann Schroeder (1904-1984) composed Organ Sonata No. 1 in 1957. Like many of his contemporaries (Ahrens, Bornefeld, Hessenberg, Pepping), he wrote his organ music under the influence of Bach and the so-called 'organ movement', providing hardly any information on the dynamics, articulation, phrasing or registration in the musical text. The former organist of the Cathedral of Cologne, Clemens Ganz, has added notes on interpretation to the present new edition which are based on his personal acquaintance with the composer and his experience of the performance practice. He indicates ways to authentically interpret the organ music of the 1950s.

Organ - intermediate - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q11650 Arranged for the organ on the basis of the original string orchestra version. Composed by Hubert Parry. Arranged by Wolfgang Stockmeier. This edition: Sheet music. Downloadable. Duration 12 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q11650. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q11650). The composer, pianist, choir director and teacher Sir Charles Hubert Parry (1848-1918) was one of the most remarkable figures of the British music scene at the turn of the century. Among his most charming compositions are two suites for string orchestra. The well-known organist and composer Wolfgang Stockmeier has arranged 'English Suite' for the organ while keeping close to the original. The arrangement can be performed on the organ with brilliant effect, transferring the atmosphere of the English late Romantic era onto the organ.

Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Organ,Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1028814 Composed by Anthony Just. Christian,Contemporary,Sacred,Wedding. Score and parts. 2 pages. Justified Notes Music Group #4296771. Published by Justified Notes Music Group (A0.1028814). This piece for C-Trumpet and Organ was written as a Wedding Processional for the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville, KY, and first performed by the Cathedral's organist, Dr. Philip Brisson. It has since been added to the Cathedral's regular rotation of Mass processionals. Quod Deus Coniunxit is the first line of the verse Therefore what God has joined together, let no man put asunder. The piece shows two people as two voices (in this case, trumpet and organ) interweaving harmonies, passing the melody between them, symbolizing the joyful collaboration and triumphant celebration in two people becoming one. As the trumpet fades out in section D, the minor, discordant organ melody symbolizes difficulties and hard work. The symbolism continues as the trumpet fades back in, supporting the organ, ushering the melody back to a major chord in section E, as they work together towards a triumphant finish.Since this piece was composed as a processional for specific location, the length was written to fit the bride's 75 step procession. But it was deliberately written in sections to be flexible. The piece can (and should) be altered to fit the venue.  The trumpet flourish in A, meant as a call to attention, can be omitted if desired.  Section B can be repeated, and/or Section E can be omitted or repeated, to suit the necessary length.I hope you enjoy this piece!Anthony Just
