Flute Quartet,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Soprano Flute - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1396073 Composed by P. I. Tchaikovsky. Arranged by Diego Marani. Chamber,Classical,Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. 29 pages. Diego Marani #979456. Published by Diego Marani (A0.1396073). In 1882, Tchaikovsky considered creating a concert suite out of numbers from his marvelous ballet Swan Lake, which he had composed six years previously. However, he seems not to have made a final decision, and the authorship of the concert suite published after his death as Op.20a is unknown. In this arrangement for flute quartet (Flute 1, Flute 2, Flute 3, Flute 4 or Alto Flute) we have the most famous number of the suite: Waltz (Valse). It is suitable for any occasion: repertorie, classroom, recital or for an impressive and wonderful encore.

Mixed choir (SATB) a cappella - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q7182 Composed by Viktor Ullmann. This edition: choral score. Schott Choral Music. Downloadable, Choral score. Duration 5 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q7182. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q7182). Hebrew.Viktor Ullmann composed his choral arrangements of Hebrew, Yiddish and Chassidic songs in the ghetto of Theresienstadt in 1943/1944. In the function of “Head of the Studio for New Musicâ€, Ullmann made a significant contribution to the so-called “leisure activities†in the ghetto. The works were evidently intended for the repertoire of the various choirs at Theresienstadt, including children’s choirs such as the Karel Vrbas Youth Choir in which Ullmann’s son Max also sang. There is no evidence to confirm that Ullmann’s choral works were actually performed in Theresienstadt, for example in one of the frequent concerts given by Rafael Schächter’s choir of up to a hundred voices (cf. Milan Kuna, Musik an der Grenze des Lebens, 21998. p.313). The German translations below first appeared in the song book Makkabi-Liederbuch published in Berlin in 1930 (2nd edition 1935) which was available to Viktor Ullmann as a source for the melodies and text orthography for his choral arrangements in Theresienstadt.
