The moving bass line will surely sound solid and the cellos and double seconds will have a fun time with the short features they get in the transition sections of the piece. In the middle, there is a false ending, which starts the beginning over again and plays a modified finale (Hence the Start Over Soca).

The piece takes it's name from American Black-tailed Jackrabbit which is common throughout much of the American continent. The piece is envisioned to be cartoonish and distinctly American sounding. Though the subject matter is light-hearted, the piece can be challenging at times. Though, it is extremely fun to play and to listen to.
