Five Songs of Passion is a virtuosic work for oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and piano. Each instrument has its own feature movement, and the work concludes with an all-in tutti. Written for the EastWind Ensemble (Ashley Barret, Kelly Burke, Michael Burns, and Andrew Harley), the piece was premiered in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
