This set of music for HARP is based on my Twenty Etudes For Guitar. While these pieces may in fact work as etudes for harp I have purposely renamed them. This is Impromptu No.16 For Piano From Twenty Impromptus For Piano by Neal Fitzpatrick. There is a long tradition of arranging piano music for guitar. This edition reverses that tradition. This set of music for piano is based my Twenty Etudes For Guitar. This study focuses on ascending diatonic major scales on each single string of the guitar. Each group begins with quarter notes and proceeds through various divisions of the beat. This exercise can hone your shifting acuity and precision while improving fretboard knowledge. These patterns are excellent workouts for any guitarist and for metal and jazz players in particular. This is a fun little piece for flute duet. This Fancy For Two Flutes No.1 is based on work I've written for the guitar. It is essentially a direct transcription and so it is captures the drive, tonal relationships and flow one might expect in a stringed, fretted instrument but through the medium of two flutes. It's ideal for a teacher-student duet, ensemble performance, or technical exploration.
