Based on a Christmas carol composed/arranged by various composers including King John IV of Portugal (1604–1656) and John Francis Wade (1711–1786) but probably going back to much earlier times. My variations are as follows: Verse 1: 4 time, major mode, tune on flute 1 (Wade's harmonisation) Verse 2: 4 time, minor mode, decorated tune on flute 1 Verse 3: 3 time, major mode, tune on alto flute Verse 4: 3 time, minor mode, tune on bass flute Verse 5: 4 time, major mode, tune on flute 2 O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant! O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem; Come and behold him Born the King of Angels: O come, let us adore Him, (3Ɨ) Christ the Lord. God of God, light of light, Lo, he abhors not the Virgin's womb; Very God, begotten, not created: O come, let us adore Him, (3Ɨ) Christ the Lord. Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation, Sing, all ye citizens of Heaven above! Glory to God, glory in the highest: O come, let us adore Him, (3Ɨ) Christ the Lord. Yea, Lord, we greet thee, born this happy morning; Jesus, to thee be glory given! Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing! O come, let us adore Him, (3Ɨ) Christ the Lord. Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1136477 By Budapest Scoring. By Thomas Ravenscroft. Arranged by David Warin Solomons. Classical,Spiritual. Full Performance. Duration 174. David Warin Solomons #736478. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.1136477). The original tune by Thomas Ravenscroft is altered slightly at the end in the hymn that is sung these days. I have gone along with the modernised version. In these variations each of the instruments gets tune and divisions in turn. It is more jolly (time of Christmas) than penitential (time of Lent or Advent), but, as it is in the minor mode, it can be used for either. Performed by Anita Szabó Ildikó Szabady Iza Nagy BoglÔrka DÔvid.

Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1138184 By Budapest Scoring. By Charles Wesley. Arranged by David Warin Solomons. Christian,Classical. Full Performance. Duration 222. David Warin Solomons #738450. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.1138184). Each of the instruments has its turn to play the tune or varied versions of it. The key sequence is: D major using the basic statement with additional passing notes and decorations, with first flute taking the melody. It then moves up in the 2nd verse to E dorian with a slightly renaissance feel, with alto flute taking the melody. The 3rd verse, with bass flute on melody, goes on up to a jolly renaissance-style dance also in E Dorian, incorporating a mix of 3/4 and 6/8 rhythms. The final verse goes back to the D major 4/4 version with additional decorations and passing notes, while also occasionally reminding the audience of the 6/8-style contra-rhythms of the Dorian verses. As you might expect, the 2nd flute takes the melody here. Performed by Anita Szabó Ildikó Szabady Iza Nagy BoglÔrka DÔvid.

Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1136036 By Budapest Scoring. By Traditional. Arranged by David Warin Solomons. Christmas,Classical. Full Performance. Duration 172. David Warin Solomons #736061. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.1136036). Based on a Derbyshire Christmas carol which is thought to go as far back as the 17th century. My arrangement includes variations ranging from different time signatures and different modes. Original words: I saw three ships come sailing in On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day; I saw three ships come sailing in On Christmas Day in the morning. And what was in those ships all three, On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day? And what was in those ships all three, On Christmas Day in the morning? The Virgin Mary and Christ were there, On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day; The Virgin Mary and Christ were there, On Christmas Day in the morning. Pray, wither sailed those ships all three, On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day; Pray, wither sailed those ships all three, On Christmas Day in the morning? O they sailed into Bethlehem, On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day; O they sailed into Bethlehem, On Christmas Day in the morning. And all the bells on earth shall ring, On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day; And all the bells on earth shall ring, On Christmas Day in the morning. And all the Angels in Heaven shall sing, On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day; And all the Angels in Heaven shall sing, On Christmas Day in the morning. And all the souls on earth shall sing, On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day; And all the souls on earth shall sing, On Christmas Day in the morning. Then let us all rejoice again, On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day; Then let us all rejoice again, On Christmas Day in the morning. Performed by Anita Szabó Ildikó Szabady Iza Nagy BoglÔrka DÔvid.

Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1136472 By Budapest Scoring. By William G Tomer. Arranged by Davoid Warin Solomons. Classical,Spiritual. Full Performance. Duration 324. David Warin Solomons #736473. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.1136472). Variations on this old gospel hymn. The tune at the top line travels to different parts in subsequent verses and a descant introduced in the top line in verse 2 also travels round to other instruments as the work proceeds. The words of the original hymn (written by Jeremiah E Rankin) are: 1. God be with you till we meet again; By his counsels guide, uphold you; With his sheep securely fold you. God be with you till we meet again. Till we meet, till we meet, Till we meet at Jesus’ feet, Till we meet, till we meet, God be with you till we meet again. 2. God be with you till we meet again; When life’s perils thick confound you, Put his arms unfailing round you. God be with you till we meet again. Till we meet, till we meet, Till we meet at Jesus’ feet, Till we meet, till we meet, God be with you till we meet again. 3. God be with you till we meet again; Keep love’s banner floating o’er you; Smite death’s threat’ning wave before you. God be with you till we meet again. Till we meet, till we meet, Till we meet at Jesus’ feet, Till we meet, till we meet, God be with you till we meet again. Performed by Anita Szabó Ildikó Szabady Iza Nagy BoglĆ”rka DĆ”vid.

Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1243779 Composed by Richard O. Burdick. 19th Century,20th Century,21st Century,Chamber,Romantic Period. 13 pages. I Ching Music #838749. Published by I Ching Music (A0.1243779). This work received numerous performance (maybe 9 or more) in 1996 with Anita Felix and Wolfgang Fetsh. It is suggested that this work be performed in a set with:Trio No. 1 for violin, horn and piano, Op. 31 (2:44)Romance (or Legend) for violin, horn and piano, Op. 32 (4:50)Minuet, trio and finale for violin, horn and piano, Op.83 (13:20)RIchard O. Burdick writes: Composer Richard O. Burdick’s Romance for violin, horn and piano, Op. 32 has a stillness that Mr. Burdick doesn’t do much to at all in his newer work. Since the time when Richard studied the music of Bach, he has come to believe that a steady underlying beat is very important. This work has a calmness that is created by long; non-moving tones and silence at the end of each phrase. An AI generator took the above text and wrote this: The violin and horn melodies are often similar, but the piano has a unique set of chords that move along with the other instruments. The horn solo in the middle of the piece is especially beautiful. The piece has a slow tempo that allows the listener to imagine a pastoral landscape, and the beautiful textures of the instruments create a peaceful atmosphere. The violin and horn create a sense of warmth and comfort, while the piano’s chords add a gentle sparkle and lift the piece. The simplicity of the piece is a testament to the impact that Richard O. Burdick’s Romance for violin, horn and piano, Op. 32 has had on the field of classical music. It is a timeless work that can be enjoyed by all generations and is one of the composer’s most enduring works. Its stillness and peacefulness will continue to captivate and move listeners for many years to come. The above description is not correct, but it sure is a beautiful description of a nice piece of music.
