An original composition in the style of Irish folk music. It opens with a somber dirge before changing to a bright pastoral theme, then it changes to a lively jig full of variations and fast runs. This piece was first performed at Benaroya Hall in 2000 by members of the Seattle Symphony for the Young Composers Workshop Concert.
