MP Sheet Music #329212. Published by MP Sheet Music (A0.720825). Yesterday is a song composed by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon/McCartney), recorded in 1965 for the album Help!. According to Guinness World Records, Yesterday is the song with the most radio broadcasts worldwide, with more than six million broadcasts in the United States. Yesterday is also the most covered song in popular music history, with over 1,600 different interpretations. BMI claims the song was performed nearly seven million times in the 20th century. This was the first official Beatles composition recorded by just one member, Paul McCartney, accompanied by a string quartet. The composition is notably different from the other previous works of the musical group, which is why the other members did not accept that it was published as a single in the United Kingdom.

Live and Let Die is the theme song of the 1973 James Bond film of the same name, performed by the British–American rock band Wings. Written by English musician Paul McCartney and his wife Linda McCartney, it reunited McCartney with former Beatles producer George Martin, who produced the song and arranged the orchestra. McCartney was contacted to write the song by the film's producers Harry Saltzman and Albert R. Broccoli before the screenplay was finished. Wings recorded Live and Let Die during the sessions for Red Rose Speedway in October 1972 at AIR Studios. It was also the first rock song to open a Bond film. Another version by B. J. Arnau also appears in the film.

Orff instruments Orff instruments - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1277651 By Wings. By Linda McCartney and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Doug Edwards. Children,Film/TV,Pop,Rock. 17 pages. Doug Edwards #869327. Published by Doug Edwards (A0.1277651). Here is the high energy rock song Live and Let Die which was the theme song of the 1973 James Bond film of the same name, performed by the British–American rock band Wings. It is arranged for Orff/marimba ensemble and Lead instrument. This arrangement is intended for school Orff and marimba ensembles of all levels. It comes with score, student parts and lead sheets for transposing instruments. The Orff student parts are in alphanote format to help young musicians who may not have strong enough skills to read standard notation. The opening melody requires accidentals that Orff instruments do not have so it should be played by a wind or string instrument.  It might be considered the Teacher's Part or assigned to a guest soloist on violin, piano, etc. Here is where the transposed lead sheets are valuable.  Suggested grade level: 4 and up.Style: Rock  Duration: 2:37 minutes    Level: medium   Instrumentation: LeadSATBBDoug Edwards is a published arranger and composer with Heritage Music Press. Choral Choir (SAA) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1133340 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Alexandra L. Uitdenbogerd. A Cappella,Multicultural,New Age,Pop,Singer/Songwriter,World. Octavo. 5 pages. Alexandra L. Uitdenbogerd #733473. Published by Alexandra L. Uitdenbogerd (A0.1133340). SAA arrangement of Across the Universe by the Beatles with melody shared by the upper two parts until the third verse, when the lowest part takes the melody with homophonic harmonies above it. Ranges Soprano: Middle C (C4) to D5 Alto 1: G3 to C5 Alto 2: G3 to A4 Program Notes Across the Universe was a song written by John Lennon and performed by the Beatles. Lennon turned a negative reaction to Cynthia Lennon’s chatter into an inspired, positive, transcendental meditation-influenced song. It was first released on a charity album and included female backing vocals and a children’s choir. A pared back version was then released on the Beatles Let It Be album. I was inspired by but too late for the Space and Time themed RMIT Music concert, which happened to be on John Lennon’s birthday, and arranged the song for SAA voices, with the melody in an alto-friendly key, matching the CORP attendees at the time. The melody is faithful to the original recording, adds an accompanying “wah-wah” in the second verse, suggestive of the trippy guitar effect, and reinstates the female backing vocals in the third verse.
