Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.955858 Composed by Alfredo Catalani. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. A Cappella,Concert,Film/TV,Opera,Romantic Period,Standards. Octavo. 4 pages. Scott S. Stewart #6454731. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.955858). Ebben? Ne andrò lontana (Well then, I’ll go far away) is the aria sung by Wally when she decides to leave her home forever in the opera La Wally (1892).  Composer Alfredo Catalani originally created the aria as Chanson Groënlandaise in 1878 and later incorporated it into his opera.  The aria was also featured in the French thriller Diva (1981).  It has been arranged for 4-part SATB ensemble to be performed a cappella.  This arrangement of an operatic masterpiece was created to make ‘Opera’ accessible to wider audiences for various reasons (instructive, educational purposes; and performance familiarity to/for a larger population).  The original melody and harmonies are used.  It retains the original foreign language text.  This arrangement is an excellent tool for introducing ‘Opera’ music in the classroom, and programming diversity in the concert hall.  Performance time: 2:21+-

Score. 2 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #930572. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1345691). Have You Met Miss Jones? is a popular song that was written for the 1937 musical comedy I'd Rather Be Right, with music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Lorenz Hart. In the musical, the song is performed by characters Peggy Jones and Phil Barker. In the 1937 version these characters were played by Joy Hodges and Austin Marshall. In the movie Gentlemen Marry Brunettes (1955) the song was performed by Rudy Vallee, Jane Russell, Jeanne Crain (dubbed by Anita Ellis), Scott Brady (dubbed by Robert Farnon) and Alan Young, Danced by Jane Russell and Jeanne Crain. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We also added some pretty cool left-hand fills that we hope you like!
