Hey Jude (as performed by Wilson Pickett) [For Three Piece Horn Section &/or String Quartet to accompany a Rock Band] This arrangement of Pickett's version of The Beatles classic Hey Jude is great for rock bands that want to perform with a full background ensemble. Though Pickett performed the song in F# major this arrangement should be used to accompany a band performing the song in F major. Picket's version was recorded in Muscle Shoals, AL at Fame Studios and Duane Allman played the guitar leads on the track. To keep with the southern rock spirit of Muscle Shoals, we added a double time extended guitar solo to the outro of the arrangement which allows a lead guitarist to improvise in the style of The Allman Brothers or Lynyrd Skynyrd. The brass should be played as a trio with your choice of either tenor or alto sax. Includes individual parts and master score. Piano, guitar, bass, vocal & drum parts are not included.
