He is known for his choral music, hymns, and anthems, which were popular in both the Anglican and Nonconformist churches.Adams also worked as a music publisher and was the proprietor of the music shop Adams and Co. in London. He was a founding member of the Royal Society of Musicians and received the honour of being appointed the organist of the Chapel Royal in 1836.Despite his many accomplishments, Adams’s music has largely fallen out of favour and is rarely performed today. Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1268127 Composed by Randy Brooks. Arranged by Michael Thomas Coull. 20th Century,Christmas,Comedy,Country,Holiday. Score. 12 pages. MTC Publishing #860686. Published by MTC Publishing (A0.1268127). Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer - Arrangement for Voice, Piano and Guitar by Michael Thomas CoullGrandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer is a novelty holiday song.  Written by Randy Brooks, the song was originally performed by Elmo & Patsy, the husband-and-wife duo of Elmo Shropshire and Patsy Trigg in 1979. The lyrics tell the story of a grandmother celebrating at a Christmas Eve party with her family when, while drunk on eggnog and off her medication, she staggers out into a snowstorm despite everyone imploring her not to.  She is found the next day, trampled; Santa and his reindeer are determined to be the culprits when 'incriminating Claus marks' are found on Grandma's back.  Grandpa seems completely unfazed by his wife's demise and spends the holiday 'watching football, drinking beer and playing cards with cousin Mel', while the rest of the family mourns Grandma's death and wonders if the gifts they bought for her should be returned.  Christmas dinner otherwise goes on as normal, with a centrepiece of roast goose, figgy pudding for dessert, and 'blue and silver candles' to match Grandma’s hairpiece.  The upshot is a warning to the listeners that Santa is unfit to carry a driver's license! This arrangment of Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer is for solo voice, piano and guitar, but also contains harmonized sections (backing 'oohs', and the final few bars) that also enable this arrangment to be performed by an SSA choir - with the majority of it sung in unison.  However it is performed, it is a great choice for a fun, novelty song for Christmas.

Woodwind Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596510 Composed by Juan María Solare. 20th Century,Instructional,Jazz,World. 11 pages. Juan Maria Solare #3368739. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596510). Vorbeiziehende Bäume [Trees passing by] is a piece for 2 saxophones where the Southamerican origin of the composer clearly arises to the surface: an original metamorphosis of the tango argentino flirting with jazz. Vorbeiziehende Bäume is part of a set of eleven pieces for saxophone duo (all others will be uploaded soon) called Eisenbahn (Railroad). All eleven pieces have titles related to the railway. If you are wondering why a German title, the reason is quite simple: that's where the composer lives. In this edition, Vorbeiziehende Bäume is offered in four instrumental combinations: - 2 saxophones (2 Tenor or 2 Alto) - Alto Sax + Tenor Sax - 2 Baritone Sax - Bb Clarinet + Tenor Sax No parts are needed: scores are already transposed (practice showed that it is much efficient to read this piece from the score, seeing also the partner's part). The piece, that is dedicated to Albanian clarinetist Ibrahim Gunbardhi, has been performed by him together with Mr. Thomas Sauer. Here is a rehearsal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0_6xIGHRb0   The composer's description on the score reflects an experience that most of us had: Imagine you are on a train. You see different landscapes through the window. But somehow it's always the same.

Trombone Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.792797 Composed by G. F. Handel. Arranged by W. A. Mozart and edited by Mark LaFratta. Baroque,Classical,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Individual part. 48 pages. Gordon Cherry #6563883. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.792797). Handel's Messiah is possibly the most performed work in the classical repertoire. From its earliest beginnings in 1742, others have modified it to suit more modern-sized (larger) orchestras. From the original small baroque-sized orchestra in the early 18th Century to the Classical-sized of Mozart through to the full 20th Century version including percussion and tuba by Sir Thomas Beecham. Others have felt that if Handel had lived in their century he surely would have written his grand masterpiece for larger forces, given the passion of the work. This is Mozart's arrangement from 1789 which was subsequently first published in 1803 and has a Classical-sized orchestra including Alto, Tenor and Bass Trombone. According to Austrian custom of the time, the Trombones were to play ALL of the tutti choruses. Mark LaFratta has beautifully written out edited and transposed all of these choruses into the correct clefs for us to enjoy. This version is for Alto, Tenor and Bass Trombone, parts only ...... no score is included...the conductor has that.Trombonists.....this is your chance to be bold and insist that the Trombones perform in the next Messiah. Just do it!! Is the conductor going to argue with Mozart? This music is appropriate for advanced performers and includes the complete edition of all thirty-eight movements.
