Some large chords have been compromised but all essential harmony is present. Finally, I have re-voiced a few areas where hands collide in the original to make it easier to negotiate.It is advanced Intermediate is level although a competent Intermediate pianist may be ok with it. Best to look at the youtube to judge which has the whole score.  It is 5 pages and roughly 3 mins 15 in length.It really is a wonderful piece- especially used for concert's weddings, recitals, encore, incidental, recitals etc.

This catchy Reggae-style piece, originally made famous by John Legend, features solo Alto Saxophone with Piano Accompaniment geared toward the High School or advanced Middle School performer.  It is in concert Bb-major (written G-major).  The alto sax range in this arrangement spans from written D4 to D5 [on the staff]. The diatonic nature of this arrangement (only 2 measures contain an accidental) and the range make this easily accessible to younger performers. There is, however, some syncopation in keeping with the original melody, but nothing out-of-reach for a competent performer.  The piano accompaniment is reasonably simple: a somewhat active L.H. part with chord comping in the R.H.

He was a contemporary of Tomaso Albinoni. He held concerts in his hometown and also composed and published several sets of concertos, including six concertos under the title of La Cetra (The Lyre), as well as cantatas, arias, canzonets, and violin sonatas. Marcello, being a slightly older contemporary of Antonio Vivaldi, often composed under the pseudonym Eterio Stinfalico, his name as a member of the celebrated Arcadian Academy (Pontificia Accademia degli Arcadi). He died in Padua in 1747.Alessandro's brother was the more well-known Benedetto Marcello, also a composer.Although most of his works are infrequently performed today, Marcello is regarded as a very competent composer. His La Cetra concertos are unusual for their wind solo parts, concision and use of counterpoint within a broadly Vivaldian style, according to Grove, placing them as a last outpost of the classic Venetian Baroque concerto.[citation needed]The Concerto for Oboe and Strings in D minor op. 1, S D935, is an early 18th-century concerto for oboe, strings and continuo. Perhaps his best-known work. Its worth was affirmed by Johann Sebastian Bach who transcribed it for harpsichord (BWV 974). A number of editions have been published, including an edition in C minor because the baroque oboe played a whole tone lower than the modern oboe.Here is a take on brass instruments, with a basic or an advanced version for the euphonium soloist. A rich arrangement of this perennial favorite, written for the intermediate student.  This arrangement includes 7 of the themes found in the original composition.  Set in A minor, with some repetition of themes and very 'hand-friendly' chords, this is as accessible as it is motivating for intermediate students.  Teen and adult students especially seem to enjoy this one.  If your student has played either or both of my other arrangements for this piece (there is one for beginner and one for late elementary level), they will recognize the eighth note run, as it is identical in each arrangement.  I find this helps the student feel competent and confident, to find a nugget in the new piece that they already know well.  This piece is great for a holiday-season recital, or even for a short piece for a church service.
