Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.882289 Composed by Vince Peterson. 20th Century,A Cappella,Children,Contemporary. Octavo. 5 pages. Personage Press, LLC #5203925. Published by Personage Press, LLC (A0.882289). Thank you for your interest in this title! You can purchase individual copies for a lower price at PersonagePress.com.Vince Peterson's setting of Shakespeare's text from The Tempest is a great alternative to the long-treasured staple by Vaughn Williams. The three-part ostinato in the alto line turns the section into a sort of backup group (the nymphettes if you will...) who herald the sea nymphs now caring for Ferdinand's father deep at the bottom of the water. The pulsation and doo-wop nature of the alto trio is meant to heighten the comic effect of Ariel's failed attempt to console Ferdinand at this moment in Act 1, Scene 2 of the play.

SATB Chorus, opt. Cello - Digital Download SKU: C6.834120 Composed by Dale Peterson. Lent, Holy Week, Good Friday. MP3. Celebrating Grace - Digital #834120. Published by Celebrating Grace - Digital (C6.834120). A tender and hauntingly beautiful anthem from Dale Peterson explores the sacrifice Christ made on our behalf. The piece begins with a lyrical interplay between SA and TB unison phrases. As the refrain appears, so does the choral texture, accentuated with graceful harmonies and expression. A second verse portrays the crucifixion with drama, emotion, and accented writing. The lyrical refrain returns with its lush choral texture, and the piece concludes quietly, assuring us of God's love. The optional cello part that beautifully weaves throughout the work is included.
