Harp - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.928330 By Patsy Cline. By Willie Nelson. Arranged by Karen Peterson. Country. Score. 2 pages. Karen Peterson #5955415. Published by Karen Peterson (A0.928330). This Countrypolitan song made famous by Patsy Cline was written by a not-yet-famous Willie Nelson. The attitude of the protagonist has been described as variously bemused, bittersweet, and cathartic. What is it to you, and how can you bring that emotion into your playing? My double-strung arrangement sets accidentals in the LH prior to playing, allowing the song to proceed without lever flips. The optional lever flip at the very end can be easily eliminated, making this song a great opportunity to practice flipping on the right with an easy recovery if you can’t get it in time.Key and range: Bb major (two flats). 21x2 strings. C below middle C through B. Preset B natural, C#, E natural, and F#.Lever changes: One optional lever change on the right. Set four accidentals on the left before playing.Good for: Parties, performance.

It was first recorded in 1954 by jazz trumpeter Miles Davis and released on his album Miles Davis Quartet. It is a 32-bar ABAC form. The song composition officially credits jazz trumpeter Miles Davis as the writer. However, there is some controversy that it may have actually been composed by someone else.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1485941 By Andrew Peterson. By Andrew Peterson and Ben Shive. Arranged by Brian Buda. Christian,Contemporary,Easter,Praise & Worship,Religious. Score. 19 pages. Budaful music #1062992. Published by budaful music (A0.1485941). This is a lovely piano arrangement of Andrew Peterson's 'Is He Worthy?'. This powerful, rousing worship song is addion to any hymn players music binder. Beginning simply and softly, it gets progressively more advanced throughout. It has been arranged with two timings and 3 transpositions: C, B (original key), and Bb. See the performance options on the first page of music for more details. There are 2 optional endings to this arrangement, the first is moderately advanced and the second is more advanced. It was arranged in C, so some chords and fingerings might need to be adjusted in the other keys. For some, it may actually be easier in B since the black keys help determine fingerings. Is He Worthy? He Is.

Harp - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.928320 Composed by Rory Dall. Arranged by Karen Peterson. Celtic,Contemporary,Folk. Score. 4 pages. Karen Peterson #5955365. Published by Karen Peterson (A0.928320). This tune was published by Daniel Dow in the 1770s and was probably composed by Roderick Morison (~1656-1713). My double-strung harp arrangement in the dorian mode has rolled, echoed chords, highlighting the depth of sound we can get from having two sets of strings. The accompaniment hand traverses the entire range of the harp, often overlapping the melody hand.Range and key: D dorian (all naturals). 24x2 strings. C below middle C through E.Lever changes: None.Good for: Performance, memorials, therapeutic settings.Double-strung effects: The LH accompaniment frequently overlaps the RH melody range. Rolled accompaniment chords often contain the same note as the melody, creating a rolled echo. Some chords that aren’t rolled have doubled notes in both hands, creating depth. The repetition of LH patterns makes this a great piece to learn overlapping hands with.Characteristics: Neither hand needs to place more than an octave spread. There are some four-note chords (always LH 1-3-5-8). The RH has almost no chords. Few of the chords are inversions. There are very few sixteenth notes; no more than three played together with one hand. The LH has two long-run patterns (1-5-8-9-10 and 1-5-8-9) which can be played with cross-unders or a wandering thumb. The RH has a few cross-overs/unders.Finger placement: Finger number suggestions are provided for key phrases. Numbers above the notes are suggestions for the RH (marked with R or R# when they occur in the bottom staff). Numbers below the notes are suggestions for the LH (marked with L or L# when they occur in the top staff). To see what I mean, view the PDF of finger placement examples in Rorie Dall's Sister's Lament: www.EnjoyTheHarp.com/s/rorie-dalls-sisters-lament-notes-enjoy-the-harp.pdfNotation: Chord symbols are provided. Treble clef is used for both staves, with 8vb for the low notes. Length: 4 pages. 60 measures, plus 12 if you take the repeat. 4 minutes.Page turns: If you are printing, double-side pages 2 and 3 so that there is only one page turn. The RH can be used on all notes of page 2’s last measure, so that the LH can turn the page. If you are using single pages on a tablet, you can do something similar at the end of page 3. Page 1’s turn is manageable. String Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.942953 Composed by Geoffrey Peterson. Contemporary. Score and parts. 43 pages. Geoffrey Peterson #4267231. Published by Geoffrey Peterson (A0.942953). Link to complete recording: https://soundcloud.com/geoffrey-peterson/sets/the-edmund-fitzgerald-concerto On November 9th, 1975, the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald left port in Superior, Wisconsin. The 729-foot-long iron ore carrier, loaded with 26 thousand tons of taconite pellets for the auto industry, was bound for Detroit. Earlier that day, the weather service had issued a gale warning. This was not unusual, considering that gale storms are typical during November on Lake Superior. The Fitzgerald’s Captain, Ernest McSorley, and her 29-member crew headed northeast unaware of the maelstrom they would soon encounter. At around 2 a.m., Bernie Cooper, captain of the Arthur M. Andersen, another freighter which was following a few miles behind the Fitzgerald, radioed Captain McSorley to consult with him about the worsening storm. They had both decided to take a more northerly route along the Canadian shore, which they hoped would provide some shelter from the violent gale winds and waves. The Fitzgerald’s long-range radar stopped working the following day and was needed in order to avoid Six-Fathom Shoal, a shallow area of Lake Superior that could rupture the ship’s hull. McSorley soon radioed the Anderson to report that the Fitzgerald had sustained some topside damage...a fence rail down, two vents lost or damaged, and a starboard list. A list meant that the Fitzgerald was taking on too much water and was causing it to lean to one side. The short-range radar also stopped working, and the radio direction beacon from nearby Whitefish Point vanished. This would make it impossible for the Fitzgerald to reach the lee waters of Whitefish Bay and escape the 80 mph winds churning 20 to 30-foot waves. At 7:10 p.m. that night, First Mate Morgan Clark of the Andersen radioed the Fitzgerald to see how they were doing. Captain McSorley replied, We’re holding our own. This was the last contact anyone would have with the Fitzgerald. Shortly thereafter, the Edmund Fitzgerald disappeared from the Anderson’s radar screen. All 29 of her crew were lost on November 10th, 1975. The Edmund Fitzgerald chronicles the tragic final voyage of the well-known shipwreck in 4 movements; Embarkment, The Gales, Six-Fathom Shoal (We’re holding our own.) and Entombment-Dirge. The concerto makes use of several musical quotes. The first is Spanish Ladies, an English sea chantey, which appears in both the 1st and 3rd movements. The second is the funeral march theme from the 2nd movement of Beethoven’s 3rd Symphony which is heard in the 4th movement of the concerto. In addition, a chime is rung 29 times during the final bars of the concerto to memorialize the men who lost their lives. The Crew of the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald: Michael E. Armagost, Frederick J. Beetcher, Thomas D. Bentsen, Edward F. Bindon, Thomas D. Borgeson, Oliver J. Champeau, Nolan S. Church, Ransom E. Cundy, Thomas E. Edwards, Russell G. Haskell, George J. Holl, Bruce L. Classical,Holiday,Praise & Worship,Standards,World. Score and parts. 16 pages. Duration 99. J. Randolph Hall #6CDWTJgxAdiInYD7EaqHbz. Published by J. Randolph Hall (A0.535642). Key: G major.Peterson was an American composer in the 20th Century. Johann Sebastian Bach was a German composer from the Baroque era. Peterson's Heaven Came Down and Glory Filled My Soul is woven together with Bach's famous Jesus, Joy of Man's Desiring. I've made a few harmonic changes to help the piece flow smoother. Section A starts off with the Peterson refrain woven with the triplet feel part from Bach. Section B has Peterson's verse section woven with the choral part of Jesu. Section C returns with much of the recap of section A but with a conclusion. Felicimente (Italian) means to play happily or with much joy.
