Concert Band - Digital Download SKU: AX.00-PC-0000805_WPTBEBC (wp) E-flat Tuba B.C.. Composed by Mark Williams. Instructional. World Part. 1 pages. Alfred Music - Digital Sheet Music #00-PC-0000805_wpTBEBC. Published by Alfred Music - Digital Sheet Music (AX.00-PC-0000805_WPTBEBC). UPC: 038081278117.More Cowbell was inspired by the famous television skit featuring a rock band, a record producer, and an over-zealous cowbell player. If the cowbell player is good at hamming it up (and rocking out!), you could try the following staging suggestions: Cowbell player plays with intensity and lots of movement, and starts moving in measure 17 toward the front of the band, ending up next to the conductor in measure 24, bowing to the audience on beat 4. Conductor gives a stern look and gestures to student to get back in the percussion section (possibilities: slit throat gesture with side of first finger followed by pointing forcefully to the back, or similar gestures). Student slinks back, starts playing cowbell again, but quietly this time. Playing gradually picks up intensity, and player starts again toward the front in measure 41, reaching the front by measure 48. In measure 48, either A) Conductor waves hands violently for student to stop, or B) have a couple of students place a large blanket over the cowbell player. This works, but only for one measure (player quits and doesn't move in bar 49). Cowbell player resumes playing with a vengeance in measure 50 (either in spite of the teacher or under the blanket!). Make sure your new rock star takes another bow at the end of the piece. Have fun, and may your life always have More Cowbell! Correlated with Accent on Achievement, Book 1, page 27. This development in sustainable energy sources and the winds that flow across the great state serve as the inspiration for this composition. The piece begins by depicting the great open spaces that stretch for miles across the Oklahoma landscape. Small gusts of wind (represented by scalar and arpeggiated passages in the mallets and woodwinds) dance across the landscape. The piece picks up pace as the wind races across the land, turning the turbines and charging towards the future. (5:30)Concert/Contest; Festival.

Reflective and subdued, the interplay between Stevens’ piano and  Iimori’s oboe is effortless and flowing. Autumn Wind picks up the pace a bit, but continues the easy flow, bringing images of  leaves swirling. Signs of Winter is a bit darker and more mysterious. Iimori is a big fan of Paul McCandless, and that musician’s influence is very strongly heard in these first three pieces - a very good thing! In Clouds,  Iimori switches from oboe to English horn. This duet with the piano is a dramatic musical depiction of the gathering clouds and anticipation of a coming thunder storm. I really like it a lot!  Snow is tranquility set to music. Sparrow’s Song brings us to the beginnings of spring - the freshness in the air, and the joyful songs of birds in the yard. July reflects the laziness of a hot summer day. Season’s Reprise brings together the  themes from the various seasons, creating a lovely closing to the Suite.

Accordion - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1303192 By Simple Minds. By Keith Forsey and Steve Schiff. Arranged by Luc Papens. 20th Century,Film/TV,Pop,Rock. 34 pages. Luc Papens #892780. Published by Luc Papens (A0.1303192). This is one of the most popular songs of the Eighties, thanks to the Simple Minds and the film “The Breakfast Clubâ€.The Scottish rock band Simple Minds recorded this song in 1985 for the film which became a cult hit, as did the theme song. The song was written specifically for the movie by songwriters Keith Forsey and Steve Schiff.Simple Minds were reluctant to perform the song since it was not written by them. But gradually it found its way to the playlist and became one of the highlights of their live shows, when the audience sings “lalalala†for minutes. This arrangement for accordion orchestra starts in a ‘classical bombastic’ style, on a slower tempo, but picks up the tempo when the typical drum riff starts. There is a lot of dynamic movement: from soft verses, only 2 voices playing, to bombastic crescendo in the choruses. To get your audience participating, the typical ‘break’ from the live performances is also included, repeating the “lalalala†melody. Just encourage them to sing and clap and see what happens! 😊Have fun with this Eighties Classic! The pdf is a bundle containing the FULL SCORE and a complete SET OF PARTS.It contains: Full Score, Accordion1, Accordion2, Accordion3, Accordion4, Piano/Keyboard, Bass, Percussion, Drums. Note: some pages might be blank to avoid overlapping of parts when printing recto verso. The mp3 is produced by Sibelius notation software and Kontakt sample libraries. Duration: 4:45Luc Papens MusicPopular music for accordion orchestra

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1254257 By Gabriel Lagos. By Gabriel Lagos. Arranged by Gabriel Lagos. 19th Century,Classical,March,Romantic Period. Score. 5 pages. Lagos Music #847828. Published by Lagos Music (A0.1254257). The third movement is done! Plenty of crunchy diminished and augmented fifth intervals in this work to give it some darkness. I also chose to keep the register fairly low. The feeling I'm trying to capture: despair; knowing that everyone's fate is to fade into the wind and there's nothing anyone can do about it. There's nothing wrong with that; I've come to a place where I no longer fear death, but it's a reality of life that, at times, is impossible to ignore. There is a positive side, though. For one, the contrasting section is in A flat major and picks up tempo briefly! Before inevitably falling back into F minor... Also, on a funny note, the entire main theme is based off of an old song I wrote for my high school rock band (in like, 2004-ish?), using a commonly used chord progression: I, VI, iv, V7. This was when I was first learning to write music but I remember always thinking it would sound good as a funeral march. The song was called One More Life and the lyrics were about shedding the old, beginning anew, asking the universe for one more life. It feels good to finally have written this movement, though. I hope you enjoy it :)Thank you,Gabe.
