For advanced players as the work makes full use of each instrument, uses double stops and extended ranges, etc. I hope this smaller ensemble will allow singers to perform the work more often and bring this beautiful work to a larger audience. The attached MP3 recordings are multi-track recordings of me playing all the parts. This was, by far, the most daunting recording I have put together for any of my arrangements, and I apologize for any minor imperfections in timing or pitch. In many places, this really stretched the limits of what I am capable of on bassoon. This is another movement where the frequent unisons and sustained long notes led to some pitch/distortion problems in the MP3. My apologies for that.
