Fauré composed his Pavane for a dead princess Op 50 in 1887. It is arranged here in its original key of F sharp minor for Clarinet in A and piano. For the first time the solo can be played also in the original key on Bb Clarinet. The part is included in this set. Although it is very frequently played there are very few options available in this key signature. The piece is also an excellent recital choice and offers enjoyable playing challenges.

Vivaldi wrote his violin concerto RV 293 Op 8 around 1723. It contains some of the most famous and frequently recorded and recognizable themes in music. Minor modifications have been made. For the most part this concerto for 2 treble instruments is the same as the original written by Telemann in the 18th century. An alternative recorder in G transposition is made available here also making that part playable in a G flute.

In 1722 Bach wrote his Prelude #23 (from Book 1 of the Well Tempered Clavier) as a technical study for the piano. Here it is transcribed in a suitable range for an unaccompanied Flute, Oboe, Sax, or Clarinet. The original key is provided as well as many other key signature to make this a challneging technical exercise for Woodwinds in the treble clef.
