Giovanni Battista Pergolesi lived from 1710-1736. The earliest records of this concerto for flute are from a publication of 1750, therefore the piece came to be known after Pergolesi's death. I have created a small orchestra accompaniement to the solo which has rarely been available. In addition to a standard flute in C part (which can be played on a Soprano Recorder), I have included alternative solo music for Oboe d'amore in A (playable on A Clarinet) and Flauta Dolce in G (playable on an Alto Flute in G).

This Spanish Theme was orignally written in 1701 by the French Baroque composer Marin Marais. This unique arrangement  is a trio for 3 equal bassoons. Bach composed this Fugue in G minor in 1720 for Organ. It has been transcribed for many types of ensembles including a jazz combo. It is arranged here as a chamber orchestra piece. Vivaldi wrote his violin concerto RV 297 Op 8 around 1723. It contains some of the most famous and frequently recorded and recognizable themes in music. I have closely followed the pattern of the original concerto which has come to be know as Winter from The Four Seasons. Included are a solo part plus a 2nd voice to make this playable as a duet.
