Piano,Viola - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.528297 Composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Arranged by Diego Marani. Classical,Concert,Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and part. 6 pages. Diego Marani #5739599. Published by Diego Marani (A0.528297). Libiamo ne' lieti calici (Let's drink from the joyful cups) is a famous duet with chorus from Verdi's La traviata, one of the best-known opera melodies and a popular performance choice (as is this opera itself) for many great tenors. The song is a brindisi, a lively song that encourages the drinking of wine or other alcoholic beverages. This arrangement for Viola with Piano Accompaniment reproduces the original spirit of the Verdi's score.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.817426 Composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Arranged by Sylvina Tilbury. Instructional,Opera,Romantic Period,Standards. Score. 4 pages. Sylvina Tilbury #4630079. Published by Sylvina Tilbury (A0.817426). La Traviata is one of Verdi's most well-loved operas and the Prelude to Act 1 is exquisitely beautiful. I have tried to capture the beauty of the music in this new arrangement for solo piano.Pedalling is indicated where appropriate but judicious pedal can be used throughout, taking care not to interfere with the staccato sections. Ornaments consist of a grace note plus mordent but can be simplified if needed. This work has a Creative Commons licence but if you re-use or perform it please acknowledge my work as the arranger.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1230465 Composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Arranged by Darrell Goforth. Chamber,Classical,Opera. 22 pages. Darrell Harrison Goforth #826167. Published by Darrell Harrison Goforth (A0.1230465). Brindisi, The Drinking Song, from La Traviata is arranged for woodwind quintet.  I have set this as a dialogue between the horn and flute..  I have taken a few liberties with the original harmonies since, without the libretto, it does becoome a little repetitive.  It is a quick, light piece that I think you will enjoy playing. As always, any comments or questions are always welcome at dgoforth2@comcast.netLike me on Facebook at facebook.com/goforthmusic andVisit my YouTube channel at youtube.com/user/dgoforth2.

Woodwind Ensemble Bass Clarinet,Contra Alto Clarinet,E-Flat Clarinet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1178377 Composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Arranged by Roy Greaves. 19th Century,Chamber,Classical,Opera,Romantic Period. 36 pages. Roy Greaves #778337. Published by Roy Greaves (A0.1178377). Verdi's opera La Traviata begins with a beautiful prelude that foreshadows the tragic story of the doomed love affair between the courtesan Violetta and her lover, Alfredo Germont. This arrangement for Clarinet Choir, although deceptively simple, is a challenge to players to capture the themes of sombre death and ebullient life that are central to the story of Violetta.Suitable for any good, well balanced Clarinet Choir, the arrangement is part of the Wychwood Clarinet Choir Music Series.Clarinet 1,2,3,4,5, Alto Clarinet, Bass Clarinet 1,2, Contralto Clarinet (opt.), Contrabass Clarinet, String Bass (opt.).
