String Ensemble - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.841327 Composed by Various. Arranged by Michele Galvagno. Baroque,Children,Classical,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 29 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #3501893. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.841327). In schools using the Suzuki Method it is usual to perform music taken from the children's repertoire books. The main problem with this is that, being violinists usually many more than their cellist fellows, these last ones have to add to their normal weekly practice also the study of the accompaniments of the pieces for violin. This can drain a lot of time from the cello teacher's weekly lesson's already limited time. This edition aims to solve this problem by providing already made parts for accompanying all of the pieces presented in the Suzuki Violin School - Volume 2, ready to use with fingerings, bowings and other editorial marks. Printing the whole score in recto-verso will give you a ready to play book with page turns already set up. The solo violin part is not shown in this publication. The teacher or the orchestra wishing to perform this is required to own a legal copy of the Suzuki Violin School - Volume 2

Alto Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.799618 Composed by Jacques Offenbach. Arranged by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo. Opera,Romantic Period. 6 pages. Nicole Elyse DiPaolo #5306351. Published by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo (A0.799618). The first of its kind, this is a customized La Duchesse-only audition cut of Vous aimez le danger...Ah! que j'aime les militaires from Jacques Offenbach's La Grande-Duchesse de Gérolstein (1867). In the past, singers wishing to audition for this role would have to make a series of awkward cuts to eliminate the gaps created by the choral parts when performing this excerpt. The current edition omits those passages and, as a result, noticeably reduces the page count. In addition, this new engraving is remarkably clearer than the existing vocal score, which has deteriorated from age and is cluttered with instrumental cues that may not be relevant to a sight-reading audition pianist. The piano reduction itself has not been simplified or drastically altered (at the commissioner's request), although the engraving features minor changes from the original edition (for example, eliminating cross-staff chord notation and inserting a few logical enharmonic respellings).About the Arranger: Praised as a sensitive pianist and outstanding accompanist who delivers powerful interpretations, Nicole Elyse DiPaolo enjoys a multifaceted career as a sought-after collaborative pianist, educational composer, arranger, coach, private teacher, and adjunct music professor. Currently based in the Cleveland area, Ms. DiPaolo has appeared as a concerto soloist with the Ambassador Chamber Players on multiple occasions and as a recitalist, collaborator, and presenter worldwide. Currently, Ms. DiPaolo is an online Adjunct Lecturer in Music at Indiana University; the Principal Theory Teacher at Liberty Park Music, an online-only video subscription-based music school; an invited blog contributor and guest instructor at Tonebase; and a sought-after online instructor of piano, music theory, and composition who includes partimento and historical improvisation in her curricula. For more information, please visit http://ndipaolo.musicaneo.com .

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1495578 Composed by Gaetano Donizetti. Arranged by Fabrizio Capitanio, Michele Galvagno. Classical,Instructional,Opera,Romantic Period. Score. 12 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #1072095. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1495578). When you think of Gaetano Donizetti (1797–1848), possibly the first opera that comes to mind is L’Elisir d’amore. And what is the first aria that comes to mind? Most probably the one for the tenor Nemorino at the beginning of the Second Act that begins with the words “Una furtiva lagrima…” (A stealthy tear…).What you possibly didn’t know is that this very melody was secretly penned by Donizetti in a sketch for piano solo that he treasured hidden in his wallet—folding lines can still be seen on the autograph manuscript in Bergamo. Editor Fabrizio Capitanio is thrilled to present to us this long lost gem in a new, clean, and clearly laid out edition. A detailed introduction tells of how this piece ended up being included in the opera, even if poet and librettist Felice Romani wasn’t so convinced about it.

Soprano voice,Vocal Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.799619 Composed by Gioachino Rossini. Arranged by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo. Classical,Opera,Romantic Period. 13 pages. Nicole Elyse DiPaolo #5334741. Published by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo (A0.799619). The first of its kind, this is a customized Comtesse-only audition cut of En proie à la tristesse from Gioachino Rossini's Le comte Ory (1828). In the past, singers wishing to audition for this role would have to make a series of awkward cuts to eliminate the gaps created by the Comte and Isolier's lines, and deal with a needlessly inflated page count due to the choral parts, when performing this excerpt. The current edition omits and condenses those passages and, as a result, noticeably reduces the page count to 13. In addition, this new engraving is remarkably clearer than the existing French-language vocal score, which has deteriorated severely from age.The piano reduction itself has not been simplified or drastically altered (at the commissioner's request), although the engraving features minor changes from the original edition (for example, eliminating cross-staff chord notation, correcting some obvious typos, and reconciling details in the Ricordi and French editions). In this edition, the score cuts immediately from 2 measures after rehearsal 41 to the beginning of rehearsal 42 (so the Comtesse sings the last syllable of bonheur on the first downbeat of cut time and the C major/C minor sections are cut away completely). This brings the excerpt in line with most cavatina/cabaletta numbers that do not have a discernible break in between the two.About the Arranger: Praised as a sensitive pianist and outstanding accompanist who delivers powerful interpretations, Nicole Elyse DiPaolo enjoys a multifaceted career as a sought-after collaborative pianist, educational composer, arranger, coach, private teacher, and adjunct music professor. Currently based in the Cleveland area, Ms. DiPaolo has appeared as a concerto soloist with the Ambassador Chamber Players on multiple occasions and as a recitalist, collaborator, and presenter worldwide. 2 Pianos,4 Hands,Piano Duet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1369322 Composed by Johann Simon Mayr. Arranged by Fabrizio Capitanio. 19th Century,Classical,Instructional,Opera,Romantic Period. Score. 92 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #953678. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1369322). Johann Simon Mayr (1763—1845) is a composer rarely performed today. His music, reflecting the transition from the Classical to the Romantic musical era, inspired Rossini and was crucial in the development of Donizetti’s style. He became a central figure in the musical life of the Italian city of Bergamo where, in 1805, he founded the Conservatory, at the time known as “Lezioni Caritatevoli di Musicaâ€. One of the first pupils of the “Lezioni†was Gaetano Donizetti, whose production and fame soon arose above everyone else’s. The first concerto, in C major, is one of the three surviving keyboard concertos from Mayr’s manuscripts kept in the Biblioteca Musicale Gaetano Donizetti and in the Museo Donizettiano. It is pedagogical in nature, its light orchestration (only 2 oboes and 2 horns joining the strings) allowing it to be performed with minimal forces. In three movements, spanning about 18 minutes in total, it looks back at a late Classical style that was quickly fading out of fashion at the time of its creation (1825-6).This edition comes with the unique contribution of M° Fabrizio Capitanio, in the form of a thorough musicological research delving deep into the historical context, and all of the critical aspects that made this work possible. M° Capitanio also realised the reduction for two pianos for this title (ASE 0051).The full score is available under Catalogue N° ASE 0047, while orchestral parts can be found as a bundle under Catalogue N° ASE 0053.This edition is also the first one in the new series dedicated to the City of Bergamo: La Bergamasque!

Cellos - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1146959 Composed by Friedrich August Kummer. Arranged by Michele Galvagno. 19th Century,Chamber,Instructional,Opera,Romantic Period. Educational Exercises. 84 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #747161. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1146959). Friedrich August Kummer (1797—1879) produced less pedagogical material compared to his two great predecessors, Dotzauer and Romberg, but what survived to this day is of the greatest quality. The Eight Grand Studies for Cello, with optional accompaniment of a second Cello, Op. 44, were composed when Kummer was first solo cello at the Dresden Court Opera (1854—64). All of them use the thumb in some way, while two are specifically dedicated to the thumb position. No. 7, in C minor, uses the melody from Rossini’s aria “Dal tuo stellato soglio†from the opera Mosé in Egitto, showing how great an influence his work as an opera cellist had on him. This edition comes in two versions, Original & Collectors’ Edition. The Original version contains, for the first time since their composition, the Urtext score and parts, and is available for digital download right now and will be printed in Q1 2023. The Collectors’ Edition contains, in digital download, the Urtext score and parts, the score and parts of the revision by the legendary Milan Conservatory professor Giuseppe Magrini, and the cello part of the revision by the Paris Conservatory professor Jules Loeb (André Navarra’s teacher).

Cello,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1427906 Composed by Gaetano Donizetti. Arranged by Fabrizio Capitanio and Michele Galvagno. 19th Century,Chamber,Classical,Opera,Romantic Period. Score and part. 32 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #1008651. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.1427906). Among all opera composers, Gaetano Donizetti (1797–1848) was perhaps the most prolific when it comes to chamber music. He composed sixteen string quartets, countless pages for piano (solo and four-hands), and several fantasia-style pieces for solo instrument and piano. The autograph of the Largo for cello and piano survived to this day thanks to virtuoso cellist Alfredo Piatti (1822—1901), in whose collection it safely rested until it could be unearthed once more. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this edition of the Largo brings the piece back to life, providing a comprehensive and accurate representation of the original manuscript. A thorough section of Critical Notes will let you compare the four existing sources and understand why this edition was needed. This edition comes in a bundle of full score and two separate cello part, one unedited, and one with performance suggestions by Michele Galvagno.

String Orchestra - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.841329 Composed by Georg Goltermann. Arranged by Michele Galvagno. Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and parts. 65 pages. Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele #3501895. Published by Artistic Score Engraving di Galvagno Michele (A0.841329). This is a solo and string orchestra version of the third movement from Georg Goltermann (1824-1898) fourth cello concerto in G major. As a greatest hit in the cello students’ repertoire, it is seldom performed in its full orchestral version, mainly due to the lack of a full symphonic orchestra in little music schools. This arrangement for string quintet or orchestra (with the viola easily adaptable as a third violin) hopes to solve this most basic problem and give students a great chance for a public performance they will never forget!
