Es umfasst 54 Sonaten fur ein Melodieinstrument und Bc sowie einige Duette fur Traversfloten; dieses Manuskript ist wahrscheinlich eine Abschrift der Sammlung von Traversfloten-Sonaten, die Friedrich der Grosse anlegen liess. Unter den Komponisten befinden sich bekannte Namen (Handel, Telemann, Vivaldi u.a.); weniger bekannte (Loeillet, Schickhardt, u.a.), etliche Anonymi bestreiten den Rest. Auffallend ist die Bevorzugung der Traversflote: Kompositionen fur dieses Instrument umfassen zwei Drittel aller Sonaten, darunter etliche Bearbeitungen originaler Violinkompositionen. Vielleicht ein Hinweis auf eine in das fruhe 18. Ro?der. This collection of waltzes is dedicated to the composer’s then fiance?e, Miss Josefa de la Fuente, known as “Pepita”, whom he would marry in 1902. In addition, it is documented the composer’s intention to raise funds with the edition of this work and allocate them to the project of the Independencia Park in Santo Domingo.
