The so called Spanish Romance , also known as Romance Anónimo, Romance de Amor and other names, is originally a beautiful composition for the classical guitar. Its origins and authorship are currently in question. It is suspected of originally being a solo instrumental guitar work, from the 19th century. I love that romance very much and I decide to arrange it for the piano. I composed also a underlaying bass accompaniment for the left hand. It can be played by late intermediate piano players. It should be played emotionially and rubato.

This is a true secret masterpiece for piano written by Guiseppe Martucci. The melodies based on the opera La forza del destino (The force of destiny) from Guiseppe Verdi. The text of Stabat Mater dolorosa is thought to originate from Franciscan sources in the 13th century. It was in 1898, while he was at secondary school in Nagyszombat, that Kodály wrote his strophic Stabat Mater for a capella male choir.

I used the version for mixed choir (arranged by Imre Sulyok) in my arrangement and I add additional parts for a string quintett or string orchestra. The arrangement sounds great and emotional.

I recorded it with the powerful Vienna Ensemble Software, MirX Convolution Reverb and Logic X Mastering.

O mio babbino caro (english: Oh, my beloved father) is the name of a famous aria from the opera Gianni Schicci composed by Giacomo Puccini. The premiere of the opera was 1918 at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. I arranged this aria from Giacomo Puccini for piano for intermediate beginners. The original key Ab major is transposed to G-Major and the left hand accompaniment is not too difficult. It should be nice to play for any intermediate beginners. It's a very lovely melody.
