Clarinet,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.924823 Composed by Rentaro Taki. Arranged by Stanley M. Hoffman. Contemporary. Score and part. 1 pages. Stanleymhoffman.com #3912973. Published by stanleymhoffman.com (A0.924823). This piece was composed for a call for scores for Vox Novus' 15 minutes of Fame series. While Thomas Piercy and Claudine Hickman did not choose to perform it, the composer chose the tune Kojo no tsuki (Moon over the Ruined Castle) because the inspiration for it, the Oka Castle ruins, reminded him of the devastation caused by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. The right hand of the piano, and the clarinet line feature melodic fragments; the l.h. contains the entire tune as a cantus firmus.
