The arrangement features each instrument taking turns with the melody, counter melody, and motor. With the purchase, you will receive a 10x17 tabloid full score (6 pages), letter size score (6 pages), violin I part (4 pages), violin 2 part (3 pages), viola part (3 pages), and cello part (3 pages). Total is 23 pages and the approx. run time of the piece is 2min 45seconds to 3minutes. About the arrangement: The arrangement is primarily written in 6/8, but features some metric modulation (going from dotted quarter 63 to quarter note 126bpm for example). This gives the piece a dramatic sense of escalation as it reaches the final passage. Each player will have his or her time to shine in the arrangement. Also, various playing techniques are used such as ricochet (on open strings), legato, marcato, spicc. It is all written in a way to maximize the virtuosic sound while maintaining a comfortability and playability.
