Dynamics and Expression are left to the performers discretion but I've suggested a few to get you started. Have fun!For all our German friends and music lovers, here is an arrangement you might recognise. This version of Kurt Noack's first hit Heinzelmännchens Wachtparade was inspired by my hero Klaus Wunderlich. I have used a synth brass sound in the audio demo to emulate the way Klaus played this piece when I first heard it. Viel Spass!

Instrumental Duet,Piano Instrumental Duet,Marimba,Piano - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1043957 By Eleonor Sandresky. By Eleonor Sandresky. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary. Score and parts. 22 pages. Varsa Publishing #648659. Published by Varsa Publishing (A0.1043957). Duo for Marimba and Piano was composed in 1988 and was premiered that year at the North Carolina Composers' Symposium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina by Eric LeCain and the composer. A very early piece in Ms Sandresky's oeuvre, the piece has a distinctly minimalist feel that reflects her influences of the time. The piece was revised in 1992 to include an optional video component so that half of the duo was prerecorded and presented with the TV monitor in front of the piano where the soloist would normally be. This version was premiered at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art on a concert of Ms. Sandresky's compositions. It has since had the life it was originally intended, as a bravura concert piece for marimba and piano and has been performed in Australia and Poland, as well as the US.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1516511 By MW Mills. By MW Mills. Classical,Halloween. Score. 3 pages. MW Mills #1090570. Published by MW Mills (A0.1516511). Dance of the Sabbath Witch is full of dark, mysterious energy, perfect for the Halloween season. It uses a driving rhythmic pulse and eerie chromaticism to capture the image of a witch performing her spellbinding dance. The music’s repetitive, hypnotic phrases give it a ritualistic feel, while the chromatic twists and turns keep the listener on edge. The mood shifts between suspenseful and almost chaotic, perfectly matching the Halloween theme. This piece would suit advanced pianists. It demands a strong command of chromaticism, fluidity in shifting rhythms, and control over dynamics and phrasing to convey the eerie atmosphere. The piece also requires good technical proficiency to manage its fast-paced passages, making it a challenging yet rewarding work for skilled players looking to explore dramatic mood shifts and intense character portrayal.

Orchestra - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q19130 Composed by John Casken. This edition: study score. Music Of Our Time. Downloadable, Study score. Duration 20 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q19130. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q19130). My Concerto for Orchestra (2007) is a twenty-minute work in which different sections of the orchestra, as well as individual solos and duos from within the orchestra, are highlighted as the music unfolds. The work continues my interest in two-movement forms that began with my Cello Concerto (1991), and was later developed in Sortilège (1996) and Symphony (Broken Consort) (2004). In these works, and in the Concerto for Orchestra, each movement is given equal weight and importance with the second developing earlier material and taking it in new directions. The two-movement form of the Concerto for Orchestra derives from a symphonic sonata structure, reshaping the traditional four-movement form and combining this with aspects of sonata form, a tradition that goes back to Liszt, Schoenberg and Sibelius: 1st movement (i) exposition of ideas - dramatic and sudden (ii) scherzo and development 1 - resolute 2nd movement (iii) adagio - calm and unhurried (iv) development 2 with recapitulation - intense and energetic The Concerto for Orchestra was commissioned by the Musikalische Akademie des Nationaltheatre-Orchesters Mannheim with the support of Die Landesbank Baden-Württemberg for its first two performances on 31st March and 1st April 2008 conducted by Friedemann Layer. The score is dedicated in friendship and admiration to Ronald Zollman.
