Antonio Tormo, usando el seudónimo Mburucuyá, registró la música en SADAIC como recopilación y arreglo, porque era una antigua composición mendocina que no estaba registrada. Los versos originales de Amémonos comprenden doce cuartetas, pero Tormo las redujo primero a seis y luego agregó una séptima, que es la versión presentada aquí.
