My goal is to create something that sounds beautiful as a standalone piece of music and, most importantly, that it also makes pianistic sense. Each of my arrangements is made for a specific student, so the results will vary in terms of playing level. Most decisions are based on their current skills and abilities, or where I would like for them to be when they complete the piece. This arrangement was made for two siblings, 10 and 12 at the time! I would consider them both early intermediate, easily playing at Elementary IV NFMC class. This piece was quite the challenge at first. There are some tricky sections with unison runs. Playing cleanly is important here. Pedal should not be used very much except were notated. A definite crowd pleaser. (If you listen to the video, those are my students performing at an Honors Recital—very proud of them!) Pedal and fingering suggestions are included.

Up until now, the sonata has been available in G major only, which is kept in the archives of the Berliner Liedertafel. As a result of more recent research, Prof. Nikolaus Delius managed to find a copy of the Sonata in D major made by Pisendel which is can be found in the Sächsische Landesbibliothek Dresden, and he ascribed the work to Vivaldi. The version in D major is convincing because of its ideal register which gives the solo instrument more intensity and brilliance. A carefully edited first edition with introductory text.

She was the first Croation composer to have written a piano concerto! This miniature entitled Erinnerung opus 24 or Remembrance, was composed in 1908 so it is very romantic and lyrical.It flits from A flat to D major and back, and is in ternary form. The Violin work is evenly distributed and they have roughly a 2 octave range with the top note being F sharp which comes once- bowing is left to the performer.The Violin parts are 2 pages and the piano part is 6.
