The piece then subsides back down to the gorgeous serenity of the original registration.  A great piece for demonstrating an organ, or in a recital, programme, or for contemplation during church services.  On a techical level it's very accessible for the average player (and this edition includes helpful fingering) so it could be used for students as a very productive and rewarding addition to their repertoire.
