Mixed choir (SATB) - intermediate - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q6924 Composed by Bertold Hummel. This edition: choral score. Chormusik. Downloadable, Choral score. Op. 16. Duration 14 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q6924. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q6924). Latin.Bertold Hummel's a-cappella choral music was mainly written for being used in services. The missa 'Cantabo Domino' was composed in 1958 for the liturgical festival of a Catholic student community in Freiburg im Breisgau. The piece can be performed by an amateur choir without great effort. Of modern harmony, the mass is exemplarily short and concise, with the comprehensibility of the text being to the fore. Hummel deliberately adjusted the melodic phrasing to the Gregorian chants to form a stylistic unity. This 'utility music' in the best sense of the word is ideal for any choir!

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.939975 Composed by César Zumel. Christian,Contemporary,Sacred,Wedding. Octavo. 7 pages. César Zumel #3007465. Published by César Zumel (A0.939975). Missa Brevis VL is short enough, suitable for daily service or a wedding. We as directors are looking for Brevis Mass to be sung in a normal service, even in a wedding. Here duration is overcame, only one minute each (Kyrie, Sanctus, Agnus). Latin text is helpfull as a tradition point. It is a SATB no divisi piece, for a dinamic, young and fresh choir if not due to the age at least due to the energy. All three pieces belong to a similar composition style and idea. Young and dynamic music for young and dynamic choir. Plenty of energy, it could be worked as a week-end workshop as a step up activity at the beginning of the season. My suggestion for rehearsal and for performance is to start learning the piece by Alti, even at performance level higher rol of alti should be good. Contact info is César Zumel czmorago@gmail.com
