Mandolin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1343607 By Jessica Simpson. By Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn. Arranged by Bettina Schipp. Advent,Christian,Christmas,Religious,Traditional. Score. 3 pages. Songbooks.info #929073. Published by songbooks.info (A0.1343607). “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!†was written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in July 1945 in Hollywood, California, during a heat wave. The song was first recorded by Vaughn Monroe in the fall of 1945, released shortly after Thanksgiving, and became an international hit at Christmas. The song was arranged for the Mandolin and notated in classical musical notation and tablature. The sound of a Vibraphone was used in the setting, so the sound does not mix with the sound of your own instrument. The melody is backed by a metronome and quietly by an organ. We hope you enjoy making music...!„Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

A duplicate Bb part, without the slurs, is also included (marked with an asterisk for Bb* Instruments), for Bb players who would prefer to customize their own articulation. All tunes have been vetted for playability and accuracy. The arranger, Rob Ames, is a soprano saxophone player from New Hampshire and the Boston, MA area. His album of original tunes, “Sounds From the Boardwalkâ€, is widely available.

Percussion Ensemble Bass Marimba,Vibraphone,Xylophone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1117126 By Louis Prima & Keely Smith. By Jacob Jacobs, Sammy Cahn, Saul Chaplin, and Sholom Secunda. Arranged by Jörg Richter. 20th Century,Broadway,Jewish,Musical/Show,Standards. Score and parts. 7 pages. Jörg Richter #718714. Published by Jörg Richter (A0.1117126). Bei Mir Bistu Shein is a popular Yiddish song written by lyricist Jacob Jacobs and composer Sholom Secunda for a 1932 Yiddish language comedy musical, I Would If I Could (in Yiddish, Men Ken Lebn Nor Men Lost Nisht, You could live, but they don't let you), which closed after one season at the Parkway Theatre in Brooklyn, New York City. The score for the song transcribed the Yiddish title as Bay Mir Bistu Sheyn. The original Yiddish version of the song (in C minor) is a dialogue between two lovers. Five years after its 1932 composition, English lyrics were written for the tune by Sammy Cahn and Saul Chaplin, and the English version of the song became a worldwide hit when recorded by The Andrews Sisters under a Germanized spelling of the title, Bei mir bist du schön, in November 1937 (From: Wikipedia.org). Here is an arrangement for 2 Marimbas.
