SKU: A0.1354318

Composed by Traditional. Arranged by BRIAN W. COPPING. Folk,Hanukkah,Jewish,Traditional. 12 pages. EMK Music #939032. Published by EMK Music (A0.1354318).

Scored for 2 Altos, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones, there are also Alternative Parts 3 and 4 for Altos so it can be played by 4 Altos. This is very handy for teachers of groups of like instruments. ‘Hava Nagila’ is an integral part of Jewish culture and it is appropriate that this arrangement would be played in the style and with the inflections of, for example, the 'Klezmer' Clarinet tradition. Although there are lyrics, the tune has gained considerable  wider  universal popularity as a dance that moves inexorably to an exciting and  exhausting climax.

Saxophone Trio,Woodwind Ensemble Tenor Saxophone - Level 1 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1074689

Composed by Folk/Spiritual. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Folk,Spiritual. 4 pages. Phil Beaman #678959. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.1074689).

Beautiful, easy arrangement of the old Folk Spiritual We Are Climbing Jacob's Ladder for 3 Tenor Saxophones. This Saxophone Trio begins with a Choral style statement of the tune, then an interplayed division of the three parts. There are no fancy rhythms or difficult lines for the individual parts; the interest of the piece comes from the extended harmony, the contrasting section, and the interplay between the parts, making the piece sound more difficult than it really is. Good, short Beginners recital piece of a well known tune.
