Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1324315 By Anonymous. By Anonymous. Arranged by Servaas Verbergt. Celtic,Christmas,Classical,Folk,Irish,Traditional. Score. 2 pages. Servaas Verbergt #912513. Published by Servaas Verbergt (A0.1324315). This arrangement of Scarborough Fair for acoustic or classical guitar combines the chords with the melody. It is in the guitar friendly key of A minor and can be played as solo piece or used to accompany a singer. The arrangement starts with a four measure intro before going to the melody. The theme is repeated with some little variations in the second page. The chords symbols are added on the first page so you can make your own picking patterns while accompanying. This version is in standard notation and tab. I hope this arrangement is usefull for you or your students, I didn't include any dynamics because I think that by following the melody the dynamics will flow out of your guitar by itself. But you could start the intro pianissimo, gliding smoothly into the theme. Enjoy!

Cello,Piano Accompaniment,Violin - Digital Download SKU: A0.1323450 Composed by John Henry Hopkins Jr./English Ballad. Arranged by Connie Boss. Christian,Christmas,Holiday. 18 pages. Connie Boss #911671. Published by Connie Boss (A0.1323450). I have always loved Scarborough Fair. I needed to do something a little different than the Simon and Garfunkel version which is very iconic. I also wanted to use the melody for a Christmas song. I thought about how close We Three Kings was in places and decided it was a great song to do a combo with. This version is for violin duet with strings and piano. I have this in all kind of version including a women's version and SATB as well. I have version of just duet and piano and then with choir or with strings as well. Parts are included with this purchase. I hope you enjoy the mysterious sounding music. I just felt it was needed on this arrangement. This can be played without the piano accompaniment if desired. For any questions or requests, email cdboss@cvalley.net.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.773665 Arranged by Anthony Giamanco. Concert,Folk,Jazz,Standards. Score. 6 pages. Whole Tone Press #3435077. Published by Whole Tone Press (A0.773665). This piano solo arrangement of Scarborough Fair transforms the well-known English folk song into a rhythmic set of jazz variations. The piece opens mysteriously, hypnotically, with delicate left hand figurations, becoming more aggressive heading into the Latin variation, with its steadily driving rhythm, then returning to the ethereal opening measures leading into the 4-bar coda, with the left hand firmly in D minor as the right hand plays the first eight notes of the tune in A minor.   Anthony Giamanco is a member of ASCAP. His many piano, organ, choir, and chamber works are in the catalogs of numerous publishers including GIA, Shawnee Press, Alfred, Augsburg Fortress, Lorenz, and others. His pieces also can be purchased through sheetmusicplus.com, Sheet Music Marketplace, and JW Pepper.
