The gently rhythmic style of this instrumental piece creates a reverent, yet upbeat and uplifting atmosphere and is an ideal selection for any church setting; especially during Lent or for baptisms and communion services. The first verse begins with the two parts playing solo for one phrase each, then FLUTE (part 1) plays the melody for the remainder of the verse while the VIOLIN (part 2) adds a straight-forward harmony. The song begins in the key of C major and then after the repeat of the first verse, the piano interlude transitions to the key of D major for the final verse.
