First published in 1923, it has long been considered one of his finest achievements.Musically it represents the peak of Satie's humoristic piano suites (1912-1915), but stands apart from that series in its fusion of several different art forms. Sports originally appeared as a collector's album with illustrations by Charles Martin, accompanied by music, prose poetry and calligraphy. In February 1553, the company was awarded the title of imprimeur du Roi en musique. Over the following two decades, other rival companies dropped out of the market, and from the 1570s onwards Le Roy & Ballard enjoyed a virtual monopoly in music publishing. The publishing house lasted until the 19th century. While Robert Ballard looked after the business side, Le Roy was the artistic director. He achieved renown as a composer and arranger of songs and instrumentals, his published work includes at least six books of tablature for the lute, 5 volumes for the guitar, and arrangements for the cittern. These compositions are presented in the same order as they appeared in the original work published in Paris by Le Roy et Ballard. They were transcribed from a facsimile edition of the original manuscript and every effort has been made to transcribe the original tablature into modern, easy-to-play, tablature and notation.

Rondo a Capriccio in G Major, Op.129 - Rage Over A Lost Penny - Beethoven - Piano Solo.  The Rondo alla ingharese quasi un capriccio in G major, Op. 129 is a piano rondo by Ludwig van Beethoven. It is better known by the title Rage Over a Lost Penny, Vented in a Caprice. This title appears on the autograph manuscript, but not in Beethoven's hand, and has been attributed to his friend Anton Schindler. It is a favorite with audiences and is frequently performed as a showpiece. Robert Schumann wrote of the work that it would be difficult to find anything merrier than this whim... It is the most amiable, harmless anger, similar to that felt when one cannot pull a shoe from off the foot, citing the work as an instance of Beethoven's earthliness against those fixated upon a transcendental image of the composer. He also became known as a composer for the classical guitar.In December 1950, Haug's Concertino for Guitar and Chamber Orchestra won a prize at a composition competition for guitar at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy. It was Haug's first guitar composition. The prizewinners were promised that Segovia would premiere their pieces in the summer of 1952 and that they would be published afterwards by Schott of London. Whereas this promise was kept in the case of Tansman's Cavatina (Schott published it in 1952), Segovia never played Haug's Concertino, which had to await publication until three years after Haug's death in 1970. It appeared in a facsimile edition under the auspices of Edizioni Musicali Bèrben. Alexandre Lagoya and the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra played its world premiere.Hans Haug became acquainted with other guitarists such as Luise Walker at the Geneva Competition in 1956. As a result of this meeting, he wrote his Fantasia for Guitar and Piano (1957), which he dedicated to her. In 1963, his Capriccio for flute and guitar was written for the duo Werner Tripp and Konrad Ragossnig (released on RCA Victor 440.182). Also, Haug composed a Concerto for flute, guitar and orchestra in 1966, and he used the guitar in some other works.
