Caeciliae Publisher (A0.484345). This aria by Honoré D'Ambruys is a baroque aria. This is one of the more beautiful french air de court. The performer has the score (repetitions) and pages organized. The text is in current French. In the end, I inserted the poem divided in the verses (couplets). This arrangement is from the facsimile present on the Book of Arias by Sir D'Ambruys. There is another version, from a book of various composers. This last, however, does not include the second verse written in the score (the diminutions), and since the metric of the poem changes between verses, the other version is much harder for the musicians. *Now with improved engraving quality and legebility.*.

Title of the 12 Sonatas: 12 Suonati a violino o cimbalo meaning: 12 Sonatas for violin and cello or harpsichord.No 8 in E minor is my favourite Corelli Sonata. Original key, matching the original violin part. I have performed this Sonata with violin with both guitar and cello with the included parts (see video). Here is supplied: Cello melody, Cello accompaniment (continue bass), Guitar accompaniment (according to the figured bass - like the harpsichord part), Facsimile of the edition by Joseph Joachim (1888 - 1891). The first print (Rome on the 1st of January 1700) was quite messy, Joachim published a very neat edition of the same, which is here included. This edition includes violin and cello parts in Duo form. Bowing and ornament suggestions are added. The song's lyrics describe the Grinch as being unpleasant, foul-smelling, bad-mannered, despicable, and diabolical, using increasingly creative put-downs, metaphors, similes and off-hand comments by the singer, beginning with the opening line you're a mean one, Mr. Grinch. The song has been incorporated into most other adaptations of the story. In the 2000 live-action film, Jim Carrey performs the song in character as the Grinch, singing about himself.

Rondo a Capriccio in G Major, Op.129 - Rage Over A Lost Penny - Beethoven - Piano Solo.  The Rondo alla ingharese quasi un capriccio in G major, Op. 129 is a piano rondo by Ludwig van Beethoven. It is better known by the title Rage Over a Lost Penny, Vented in a Caprice. This title appears on the autograph manuscript, but not in Beethoven's hand, and has been attributed to his friend Anton Schindler. It is a favorite with audiences and is frequently performed as a showpiece. Robert Schumann wrote of the work that it would be difficult to find anything merrier than this whim... It is the most amiable, harmless anger, similar to that felt when one cannot pull a shoe from off the foot, citing the work as an instance of Beethoven's earthliness against those fixated upon a transcendental image of the composer. The charming piece Rêverie presented here is a simple composition with a melancholic character, in the style of a barcarole, with a touch of Christmas in its melody. The musical form is straightforward, presenting successive self-contained episodes without significant development. The recapitulation of the first theme in the finale adds a slightly more polished touch to the form.The various arrangements provided in this book aim to make this delicate piece accessible on a small lever harp, in a simplified version with reduced technical difficulty (omitting octaves and simplifying accompaniment). For performers with greater technical abilities and a larger harp, a version closer to Frojo's original is available, with only minor changes aimed at minimizing lever changes. Each section begins with an oration by Orpheus, which then is followed by a set of poems depicting animals, insects, sea creatures and some mythological beasts.  Francis Poulenc set six of these poems.  I decided to do all thirty.  Why not?

He also published four books of his own four-course Renaissance guitar compositions from 1552–53, including fantasies and dances, I encourage you to experiment with ornamentation for each piece and make them your own. In the spirit of the time Blainville was a practical musician, composer, theorist, historian and, in some way, an encyclopedist. As practical musician and composer he was cellist and it is known that he played his own compositions at the Concert Spirituel in Paris, but neither his performances nor his compositions met with outstanding success.As theorist Blainville claimed the discovery of a third mode (mode mixte) between major and minor, unfortunately his harmonic theories did not have the expected success.As historian and encyclopedist we found his work Historie générale et philologique de la musique, published in Paris in 1767. The work is in consonance with other contemporaries works such as Rousseau’s Dictonaire de Musique (1768) or the Essai sur la musique ancienne et moderne, published around 1780 by M. de Laborde and Pierre Joseph Roussier. As in these works, the work of Blainville broadly covers the musical knowledge, including theoretical-musical, stylistic, historical and ethnographic aspects. Framed in this last aspect we find a chapterdedicated to the music of the Turks. And it is in this chapter we find the musical pieces used in this arrangement.
