Woodwind Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Soprano Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Digital Download SKU: A0.758974 Composed by Bedrich Smetana. Arranged by Timothy J. Olt. Romantic Period. 46 pages. Olt Music #2894517. Published by Olt Music (A0.758974). Although the Bartered Bride might not be performed often now, the Polka from Act 1 is still near and dear to the hearts of music lovers. This staple of the orchestral pops repertoire translates into a fun and challenging work for sax ensemble. This work is scored for an unusual instrumentation for a sax ensemble. The work calls for 2 soprano, 2 alto, 2 tenor and 2 baritone saxes, but is actually divided into 2 sax quartets. This is to allow for use as a side-by-side work for student and professional ensembles. There are also percussion parts.  Although they may be considered optional, the timpani part is very important.

The band was initially composed of keyboardist/lead vocalist, Bryan Duncan, and brothers Kevin (bass guitar) and Rick (drums/vocals) Thomson. The band was the brainchild of the Thomson brothers. Randy Thomas, guitarist/vocalist joined the group around 1976. After their second album, Sweet Comfort Band also became well known for their highly detailed, airbrushed album cover art by Kerne Erickson, a trend that had previously been considered too costly for Christian groups who did not produce the high-volume album sales of mainstream bands such as Kansas. Brass Ensemble Bass Trombone,Euphonium,Horn,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1297452 Composed by Felix Bartholdy Mendelssohn. Arranged by Shinya Ishida. 19th Century,Classical,Wedding. Score and Parts. 31 pages. BitNotes.jp #887509. Published by BitNotes.jp (A0.1297452). The Wedding March is a delightful composition by the German composer Felix Mendelssohn, originally conceived as part of the incidental music for William Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream. This enchanting piece comes to life during the wedding scene, set on a magical night where fairies revel and four young lovers, along with the Fairy King and Queen, find themselves entangled in the mischief of a love potion, ultimately celebrating two joyous unions.Composed in 1842, this piece gained widespread recognition when it was performed alongside Wagner's Bridal Chorus at the wedding of Prince Friedrich of Prussia and Princess Victoria of the United Kingdom in 1858. Since then, it has remained a timeless classic and a staple in weddings and joyous celebrations worldwide. We have meticulously transcribed this iconic wedding composition for a brass ensemble featuring ten musicians (3 trumpets, 3 horns, 3 trombones, and 1 tuba). For those seeking to add an extra layer of grandeur to their performance, optional percussion instruments (cymbals and triangle) can be seamlessly incorporated. It's worth noting that the Bass Trombone part can be played on the Euphonium as well, offering flexibility to the ensemble. Given the piece's length and multiple repetitions, individual performers can consider omitting repeats or making cuts to suit the performance scene and endurance levels.Elevate your special occasion with this timeless masterpiece, the Wedding March, expertly arranged for brass ensemble. It's the perfect choice to add a touch of elegance and magic to your wedding or celebratory event.

Small Ensemble Flute,Guitar,Violin,Voice - Digital Download SKU: A0.980125 Composed by Charles Wesley (1707-88). Arranged by Christy Kalfas. Christian,Easter,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score and parts. 3 pages. Christy Kalfas #5178441. Published by Christy Kalfas (A0.980125). This version of Christ the Lord is Risen Today has been dropped to the key of A to make it easily singable by a modern congregation. Chords are included for guitarists that are considerably simplified to ease the hymn's original frequent changes - the use of all the easiest chords means that even beginner guitarists can participate. The flute and violin parts are easy to read with simple note values, though the range makes the third verse more challenging. This is easily remedied if needs be by asking the performers to play the part from the first or second verse again. Since the vocal melody is printed alongside the harmony parts, the voices can easily be replaced by another C instrument to create an instrumental arrangement of the song. As most congregations don't sing all the verses of hymns anymore, this version presents the first three verses only. If the remaining three verses are required, the musicians can return to the beginning and play through the entire score again.

String Quartet String Quartet - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.845973 By Miley Cyrus. By Henry Walter, Lukasz Gottwald, Maureen McDonald, Sacha Skarbek, and Stephan Richard Moccio. Arranged by Kyle Pudenz. Contemporary,Pop. Score and parts. 34 pages. ViolinVagabond Music #5310843. Published by ViolinVagabond Music (A0.845973). Why settle for a bland transcription of Hannah Montana when you can have an action-packed, thrill-filled arrangement that's ALMOST as crazy as Miley Cyrus!? (almost)You've heard the song. You've seen the video. Whether or not you're a Miley super fan, you get the hype and that's why you're here. So take that hype to the next level with a chart that will make your audience go what on earth just happened? the same way Miley does on at least a bi-annual basis. By the way, I'll tell you what just happened: your quartet just came in like a wrecking ball, and smashed every archaic stereotype about classical string players to PIECES!!Gone are the days of strings not being able to feel the groove. Silenced are the cynics who once called us boring and one-dimensional. A new era is upon us, where violins, violas, & cellos can get up, get out, and rock the faces off of the proletariat right alongside our guitar slinging, drumstick twirling brethren! And this chart is just what you need to usher in this oh so bright future for all who rosin the bow:Right from the start, this arrangement takes a unique spin on Miley's pop smash, with a lopsided groove that will have your listeners searching frantically for a downbeat. Their urges will finally be satisfied when the melody takes us back to that oh-so-familiar feeling of 4/4 security... but don't get too comfortable, because when that chorus drops you'd better hold on to your hats. That's right, the train is leaving the station for double-time town! Along this musical journey, you may also encounter glimpses of reggae, jazz, & bluegrass, culminating in a race to the finish that will wre-e-eck any musician who didn't come ready to hang. Oh, and just for funsies I threw in that classic showbiz' moment where the cellist steals the melody, so feel free to ham that up as much as possible, cello players! This arrangement also makes use of modern extended string techniques in order to create rhythmic grooves without the need for additional instruments, including chopping and strum bowing. If you are unfamiliar with these concepts, various resources exist all over the internet to aid you in your quest towards having better time. I recommend this series, for example: https://youtu.be/kfX3kxjC93sPerformance time - 4:20... and if that doesn't make Miley Cyrus proud I don't know what will.Questions? Feel free to contact me via my website, www.kylepudenz.com/ or on the 'Insta @theviolinvagabond

Flute Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1018943 Composed by Benjamin Harry Sajo. 20th Century,Contemporary. Individual part. 1 pages. Benjamin Sajo #6078667. Published by Benjamin Sajo (A0.1018943). Programme Notes: This composition was written to be considered for pairing alongside Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony #3, the Eroica, but can stand on its own virtues as an intense and slow meditation on heroism. The music is like a boiling pot on the stove that’s just began to overflow its bubbles. The first part of the title, kommos, is a Classical Greek term from Attic dramaturgy, literally meaning striking but specifically referring to beating oneself up during lamentation--ripping at the hair, gouging out the eyes--like Oedipus--slapping the forehead, and other acts amid moments of extreme emotional turmoil. For example, from Aeschylus's play Agamemnon, a character bewails: Apollo, Apollo! God of the Ways, my destroyer! For you have destroyed me-and utterly [...]What is this fresh woe [...]what monstrous, monstrous horror, beyond love's enduring, beyond all remedy? And help stands far away! We can easily imagine physical accompaniment to the script; rather than bottling up the pain, the hero lets it all explosively come out.  â€ƒThe second part of the title, When the world moved on, is an epigraph taken from American author Stephen King’s The Dark Tower epic. The primary setting of the novel, a world similar in many ways to our own, is experiencing a dark age where the glorious past is all but a distant memory and all good things are referred to wistfully as occurring, When the world moved on. Yet, the main protagonist, Roland, the last gunslinger, emphasizes that it is not just a figure of speech, but the literal distances between destinations have increased, the positions of the stars have changed, as well as the occurrence of other unnatural phenomena. The world has become a gulf of isolation from all corners. Taken together, this piece is a lamentation for when the world moved on. Truly completed on Yom Kippur during the Covid-19 Pandemic, being unable to fast or go to synagogue, this is my atonement.About the Composer: Benjamin Sajo (b. 1988) is a Canadian composer of contemporary classical music, as well as an educator. Since developing a fiercely independent creative voice upon the completion of his studies at Western (2010) and McGill Universities (2013), he continues to find inspiration from the intersection of mythology, art, and nature upon the contemporary human experience. In 2019, he released his premiere album of original music, The Great War Sextet: Canadian War Poetry with Trombone & Strings, with support from the Ontario Arts Council.
