Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1381155 Composed by Harold Arlen and Ted Koehler. Arranged by Dave Gingras and John E. Dosher. Broadway,Film/TV,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score. 2 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #965861. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1381155). I Gotta Right to Sing the Blues is a popular song with music by Harold Arlen and lyrics by Ted Koehler, published in 1932 for the Broadway show Earl Carroll's Vanities (1932). The song has become a jazz and blues standard. Popular recordings in 1933 and 1934 were those by Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong and Benny Goodman. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We also added some pretty cool left-hand fills for your listening (playing?) pleasure - we hope you like what we've done to make this arrangement unique!

Published by Leonora Hardy (A0.776886). This song is arranged in a user-friendly level of difficulty, with a different take on this meaningful hymn, sometimes referred to as the Black National Anthem. There are three different offerings of this arrangement on SMP--this version is for the piano with right hand melody and includes the lyrics and guitar chords, The audio has a vocal part represented by a flute, as well as the piano part. There are 2 other versions on SMP -- a lead sheet and a voice and piano accompaniment which also has a right hand melody so it is easy for a group or congregation to follow. All the verses are included, although it is recommended if more than the first verse is desired that the second verse be skipped and the third verse end at we pray and then finish with the last part of the first verse, starting at …Sing a song...

Handbell - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.767676 Composed by French carol. Arranged by c.e. walz. Christmas,Sacred. Score. 2 pages. C.E. Walz #6081145. Published by C.E. Walz (A0.767676). Sing We Now of Christmas is a wonderfully rhythmic minor key hymn that translates well to handbells, and beginning handbells at that! All within the span of less than an octave, this piece only requires six bells. If each ringer holds two bells, that makes only three ringers in all. My friend maestro said he likes the almost constant G on the second page, for he says it sounds like bells clanging in a tower, Christmas bells! Two pages, key of G minor, no key changes. Tempo set at 76 bpm, but challenge your choir to play this faster and see how that sounds!
