SSAB A Cappella arrangement.When I came to make an SAB arrangement of this, It was obvious to me that the bass part was such an important part of the arrangement, that it had to somehow stay there. It just didn't fit for an Alto 2, so I put it in as Sop 2, putting it up an octave, with a couple of minor adjustments. It sounds a bit like a descant in places, but it's always needed for the harmomies. I think it works well!

Play and hear the sound of both the chords, how many of the scale, which is in C Ionian (C Ionian) For the reading of both claves, the scale is arranged in the clave of G and F, the chords are transcribed to both hands, the instrument to be used to play these chords will be the piano, but I didn't ask him to be played by the guitar for example. First recorded by my teacher Alan Stringer to which this arrangement is dedicated to, accompanied by the organist of the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral Noel Rawsthorn recording it in 1974 under the CRD label. The album repertoire mostly chosen by Alan was from the trumpet repertoire itself Noel suggested that this wonderful late baroque organ moment by Fiocco would suite the instrument well and also make a good contrast to the album.Some years later in 1986, I managed to use the piece with Noel Rawsthorn’s pupil and now organist of the Anglican, Ian Tracy in a recital in the Lady Chapel in the Anglican. I played from the top line organ part and Ian in a true baroque style filled out the rest from a meager bass line. So I now present it in full and with a choice of trumpets for the ubiquitous trumpet and organ recital, for piccolo A, picc G, tpt in Eb and tpt in D parts included.
