By Brad Delson, Chester Bennington, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn, Mike Shinoda, and Rob Bourdon. Arranged by Andrea La Rose. Metal,Rock. Score and parts. 270 pages. Published by Andrea La Rose (A0.510110). • Melody and four-part harmony parts for all standard band and orchestral instruments, plus piano/keyboard, drum set and percussion trio (snare/ride, toms/crash, bass drum).• In original key, so you can play along with the recording. As a young musician, I often had a hard time finding music for me and my friends to play together. Small wonder, when I was a flutist and my closest friends in band played trumpet, baritone sax, and clarinet. Who writes for that combination?Later, as a music teacher, I would either be approached by students in the same kind of situation or I would have an after-school ensemble consisting of something like 3 flutes, 2 alto saxes, 4 pianists, 5 drummers, a guitar, a viola, and an accordion. Now, really. Who writes for THAT combination?!Since I am also a composer (who often finds herself writing for similarly odd instrumentation), I would simply arrange music for that combination. But not every teacher or student is comfortable with doing that or has the time to. Finally, I am sharing with you all the fruits of my labor. Let friends play with friends! Let people pick parts that they are comfortable with! Let’s play some music we love!

String Quartet String Quartet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1156755 Composed by Thomas Oboe Lee. 20th Century,Chamber,Classical,Contemporary,Romantic Period. 39 pages. Thomas Oboe Lee #757086. Published by Thomas Oboe Lee (A0.1156755). I have been a fan of the music by Heitor Villa-Lobos since my teenage years in São Paulo, Brazil, 1959-66. It was there when I first first heard his Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5, with soprano solo and eight cellos. The memory of that music will forever haunt me. I then recently discovered through a CD box set recorded by the Cuarteto Latinoamericano that Villa-Lobos wrote 17 string quartets. I guess he wanted to beat the number of string quartets that Beethoven wrote which is 16. So this being my 17th string quartet I wanted to pay homage to Villa-Lobos and dedicate this work to him, in memoriam. I took his first string quartet as a model, in terms of the titles he gave to the movements of that work. I. Cantilena … Andante II. Brincadeira … Allegretto scherzando III. Canto lírico … Moderato IV. Cançoneta … Andantino quasi allegretto V. Saltando como um Saci … Presto VI. Melancolia … Lento, Andante NB: the titles of the movements for the rest of his string quartets (nos. 2 to 17) have the same standard classical four-movement designations of fast/allegro, slow/adagio, scherzo and fast/allegro. credits.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1012646 Composed by Timothy Arliss OBrien. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score. 11 pages. Timothy Arliss OBrien #6130831. Published by Timothy Arliss OBrien (A0.1012646). This sad and wistful piano solo was composed during multiple depressions in my life. I wrote the second movement while I was 13. At the time I was dealing with aggressive bullying and tremendous anger. I wrote the first movement while I was in Highschool and found myself becoming the bully and my rage turned to sorry for myself. The third movement was written in the style of a funeral march my freshman year of college as I was being kicked out of a religious institution due to my sexuality. I have been perfecting these melodies over the years and it's so cathartic to premiere this piece. This dark and brooding piece was performed and recorded by the pianistEdward Cohen in October of 2020. www.EdwardCohen.co.uk

Brass Ensemble Euphonium - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.813708 Composed by Gustav Holst. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. 20th Century,Contemporary,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 9 pages. Regis Bookshar #6474537. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.813708). Jupiter (Andante Maestoso from Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity from The Planets) (Euphonium Quintet) - Intermediate - Digital Download. This marvelous arrangement of the Andante Maestoso section from Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity from Gustav Holst's The Planets, would be a fabulous addition to any music library and could be performed for concerts and recitals but if you are considering using this selection for church services in which a congregation may sing along, I would suggest that you look for the arrangements of either I Vow to Thee, My Country, O God, Beyond All Praising, O Spirit All Embracing or Thaxted, also by Regis Bookshar. They are all based on the same excerpt from Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity from The Planets. These arrangements are suitable for high school and college students but professional musicians would also enjoy playing these selections as well. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (9 pages). This selection is one of the many arrangements from The Regis Bookshar Trumpet Ensemble's extensive music library which are being made available for the first time. We have performed the Trumpet Quintet version of this composition quite often for numerous weddings and other special occasions. The Planets, written between 1914 and 1917 by the English composer Gustav Holst, premiered at the Queen's Hall in London, on September 29, 1918 for an invited audience of about 250 people. In the fourth movement, Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity, Holst portrays Jupiter's supposedly characteristic abundance of life and vitality. Nobility and generosity are allegedly characteristics of those born under Jupiter, and in the slower, middle section marked Andante Maestoso, perhaps the most well-known theme from The Planets (and the theme on which this arrangement is based), Holst provides a broad tune embodying these traits. In 1921, Holst adapted the theme to fit the patriotic poem I Vow to Thee, My Country by Cecil Spring Rice, and was written as a unison song with orchestra. It did not appear as the hymn tune until 1926, when Holst harmonized this melody, named Thaxted, named after the English village where he had lived for many years. Holst's friend Ralph Vaughan Williams included it in Songs of Praise. It has since been performed at numerous occasions, most notably for the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales in 1981, and also at the funerals of Princess Diana in 1997, Margaret Thatcher in 2013 and Senator John McCain where it was performed at the Washington National Cathedral on September 1, 2018. In addition to being used as the melody for the solemn, patriotic hymn I Vow to Thee, My Country, other settings of this hymn tune also include O God, Beyond All Praising, by Michael Perry in 1982, O Spirit All Embracing by Delores Dufner in 1995 and We Praise You and Acknowledge You, O God, a paraphrase of the Te Deum Laudemus by Stephen P. Starke in 1999.Regis Bookshar thought that it would be wonderful if other instrumentalists could have the opportunity to play this beautiful melody, so, in addition to the Trumpet Quintet version and this version for a Euphonium Quintet, written in Bass Clef, he has made quite a few other arrangements of this selection. There is also a version for a Euphonium Quintet written in Treble Clef, if you would prefer. There are Quintets readily available for a wide variety of instrumental ensembles. Please take the time to look for other versions of this composition. You may find something else that may also suit your needs. I would also encourage you to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar, as well, as there are numerous arrangements in a variety of styles, also available for purchase. You may find something else which might interest you. Please continue to check periodically because new arrangements are added as often as possible. I'm certain that this beautif.

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1429932 By Keith Gehle. By Keith W. Gehle. New Age. Guitar Tab. 31 pages. Keith Gehle #1010567. Published by Keith Gehle (A0.1429932). Released in the summer of 2016, Keith Gehle’s 5th full length commercial recording (Space and Time) is a sincere, heartfelt journey of healing through instrumental sounds and compositions. The album features 11 tracks of steel and nylon string guitars with accompanying piano, cello, flute, oboe, strings and synth pad sounds. Keith wrote the music and produced the recordings over several years after the unexpected death of his brother Ken in January of 2010. The process of grieving an unimaginable loss coupled with writing and recording music as a tribute to his late brother was extremely difficult and at times painful. The resulting work is honest, pure, and for Keith, a healing endeavor. This folio contains seven pieces from the album that work well as guitar solos and include detailed fingerings and interpretation along with TAB for ease of learning. Some reviews of the Space and Time Album:...the music is hopeful, heartfelt, and very sincere in addition to being exceptionally beautiful... one of the best guitar albums I heard this year. Highly recommended!- Mainlypiano.com...a lovely and peaceful album, ‘Space and Time’ is like a welcome breath of fresh air. - Journeyscapes Radio A masterpiece of New Age instrumental sounds, filled with moving melodies. - Music Web Express 3000...on Space and Time each track is a gorgeous representation of the new age and classical genre meeting half way to create a successful marriage of sound. Concert Band - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1135076 Composed by Christian Paulson. Contemporary,Contest,Festival. Score and parts. 34 pages. Christian Paulson #734412. Published by Christian Paulson (A0.1135076). I originally wrote Parker's Lullaby for our orchestra to celebrate the birth of my first grandchild, Parker. Then I wanted to explore the sounds of the concert band with this piece...so away I went. A couple of fun things went into writing this piece originally. It had to be a lullaby, represent the anticipation of her arrival and the peacefulness of her sleeping, while contrasting her whimsical side with her bold and dramatic side. A couple of other things. The chords are rather jazzy because grandpa is a rather jazzy guy. At letter C, the drum part is grandpa being playful while the flute melody is her grandma doing the same. The ranges are comfortable allowing your band to sound full and confident. I think your horns will enjoy their heroic part in the climax. I'm very pleased with how this turned out. It was important that it kept its simplicity going from strings to band. I hope you enjoy it.

Violin Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.901389 Composed by Bill Monroe. Arranged by Camilo Barahona. Contemporary. 3 pages. Camilo Barahona #5997207. Published by Camilo Barahona (A0.901389). Hey there, this is Bill Monroe's Lonesome Moonlight Waltz in the style of Kenny Baker. I have carefully written in bow markings that map out what I feel is a smooth way to play this amazing tune. In some areas you'll see fingerings that take you into 2nd position for certain chords, which might be ideal for players with smaller hands. You'll see in the video that I just stay in 1st position except for section D, E, and the very end - it really depends on hand size, dexterity, and personal preference. Also included is a chord chart for guitar accompaniment where you'll see chord shapes for a guitar capo'd at the 5th fret. I'm a violin teacher so feel free to reach out if you have any questions and I'd be more than happy to help you out in any way I can.  .

Trombone Duet Trombone - Digital Download SKU: A0.784313 Composed by Joshua Hauser. Instructional. Score. 41 pages. Slide Ride #3570011. Published by Slide Ride (A0.784313).  If this is your first exposure to these scale studies, you are in for a treat! Donuts, if you make a mistake!  The initial incarnation of these studies were written for trombone quartet and we would play them in the Tennessee Tech Trombone Choir with the challenge that whomever made the first mistake had to buy donuts for the rest of the ensemble. Since then I have brought that version to several clinics and warm up sessions. One time before I got to explain the title, a fellow trombone professor said, Oh, I get it! Don’t step in the holes!  I only wish I had thought of that myself... Since we have one of the best donut shops in TN here in Cookeville, treating the studio to sugar coated goodies was always my intent.  â€ƒAs with those exercises, you can vary these as much as you’d like. • Choose a tempo • Choose a dynamic. • Choose an articulation/style.  One way I like to play these is to have one person be the model, playing the entire scale over and over while everyone else plays the fragmented versions. That helps everyone to keep on track and stay in time. Double or triple up the parts for ensemble cohesion with a larger group.  Practice one key, gradually speeding it up to improve fluidity or choose a variation and take it through all keys, playing version A, B, C, or D then skipping 5 lines to play the same set in a new key.  If you want an additional challenge in terms of range, play them in different octaves or change the clef and key signature to expand the set. For example, if you play the F Major example in Tenor Clef, change the key signature to C Major and you have a version that is based an octave higher than the C Major version as written later.  Additionally, you can change the Key. Play them in f minor (all forms), different modes, etc. For jazz players, try swinging them in dorian or mixolydian modes.  The variations are endless!  All Donut Etudes with the same version number are compatible so you can play them in mixed duets with one person on part 1 and a different instrument on part 2.  Enjoy!
