Here is George Gershwin's version of I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles, which I arranged based on a Gershwin piano roll from the early 20th century.  It was held in a private collection for decades.   Here for the first time is my sheet music arrangement for this classic from long ago.  Before he was famous, George was what was known as a song plugger.  He would play newly composed songs to help generate record sales.  In the early 20th century, many homes had player pianos.  George's performance was preserved on such a roll and is only now available to the general public.Composed in 1918 by John W. Collette.  The phrase “blowing bubbles” symbolizes the act of chasing dreams, hopes, and aspirations.
