Les Patineurs Valse or The Skaters' Waltz or Der Schlittschuhläufer-Walzer (German), Op. 183, is a waltz by Émile Waldteufel.

t was composed in 1882, inspired by the Cercle des Patineurs or Rink of Skaters at the Bois de Boulogne in Paris. The introduction to the waltz can be likened to the poise of a skater, and the rapid runs invoke scenes of a wintry atmosphere.
It is arranged here for symphonic winds.. the piccolo part is optional, but if used, adds to the brilliance of the piece.

It has been performed many times by the orchestra of André Rieu.

'The Holiday' is a 2006 romantic comedy film written, produced and directed by Nancy Meyers; it was filmed in both California and England and stars Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz as Iris and Amanda, two lovelorn women from opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean, who arrange to swap homes with each other during the Christmas holidays, with unexpected consequences. The soundtrack contains music by various artists including Hans Zimmer, who is more familiar with action films, but there is something very warm and cosy about his work here - you may notice a similarity between the opening notes on the piano and the perennial Christmas song, 'Fairytale of New York', to add an extra dimension. This arrangement of the main theme, 'Meastro', for piano and concert band is sure to bring a slice of holiday magic to your next concert.

Rock Lobster is a song written by Fred Schneider and Ricky Wilson from the band The B-52's. This song became one of their most iconic, launching the band's career. Rock Lobster is a fun, quirky, and energetic party song with a repeated driving guitar riff, a catchy melody, and even aquatic animal calls. My arrangement for brass band is inspired by the style of Lucky Chops, so even though this is a brass band, saxophones are involved. This type of brass band originated in New Orleans. Program Notes: -Drumset player, even though I've written a full part for you, the idea is that you play whatever you want, as long as it fits the style of the piece. Treat my part for you as a base, build off from it however you please. -Optional 8vas are HIGHLY recommended. These really enhance the arrangement. -Trumpet and Alto Saxophone, in your parts starting at J, it says to make aquatic animal noises with your instrument. Each time you make a noise, do something wildly different from before. Use any techniques such as growling, rapid tounging, enharmonics, etc. to achieve such sounds. -It's more fun when you memorize the music!

I started a new line of flute arrangements called Compositions that Care.  With these arrangements, all the money sued to purchase these arrangements goes to special charity or cause . This specific arrangement is for Breast Cancer . This is something that 1 in 8 women will develop in their lifetime, and is special to me because I've had family members, friends and co-workers effected by this cancer. Generally speaking, for October, I would arrange so fun or scary Halloween song, however, October is Breast Cancer Awareness. I could not think of anything better to do than a beautiful arrangement , to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer.  
    This well written, beautiful song by Kate Bush would make a great addition to your music library, something very different and memorable not only for a general audience , but especially for an event celebrating Women , for a breast cancer survivor, for friends and family also effected by this cancer , or a movie or tv themed concert because this song was featured in the movie in She's having a Baby :, to tv shows like Alias and recently in The Hand Maids Tale . This is something very different , beautiful, and easy to derive emotional expression from, and for many this song as well as this cause will be very meaningful for many people
