The work consists of  three Latin texts from the Requiem Mass. The first, Exaudi, is in “Larghettoâ€� tempo and serves as a prelude. The second, Dies Iræ, marked “Allegro agitato,â€� is an intense and dark scherzo in D minor with chromatic runs in the organ and violin which accompany the soprano. A central, more lyrical section follows based on the “Lacrymosaâ€� text in a slower tempo, leading to the song’s only serene moment: “Pie Jesu Domine.â€� The “Dies Iraeâ€� music returns, and the song ends violently and decisively. The third song, In Paradisum, introduces the harp. The soprano melody is modeled very closely on the Gregorian chant based on this text. A gentle climax occurs on the text “habeas eternam,â€� and the song slowly winds down to its end, having laid to rest life’s struggles in the eternity of heaven. Duration: 12:30.

The first, For Terry, has whole tone harmonies. Poem has a gospel/funk feel with a short moment of reggae. L'orangerie is distinctly French in its inspiration. The poignant final song, The Visitor, quotes Mendelssohn's Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, which was the only piano piece Terry would play on request. He always stopped after the easy part. The text is based on a dream the composer had a few months after her brother's death.

English.The Seasons was commissioned by the South Bend Chamber Singers, Nancy Menk, conductor, and first performed on March 3, 2013 by the South Bend Chamber Singers with the Euclid Quartet in a concert devoted to music about the weather. The texts for this work were selected by the composer, and they represent three different time periods, the 17th, 19th and early 20th centuries, to show that writers have long been fascinated by the seasons and by the distinct weather conditions that each season brings. Although certain types of weather, such as wind or rain, may occur in any of the seasons, the descriptions of weather in these four poems present specific weather conditions which commonly occur in each of the four seasons: a still, hot, sultry day interrupted by the movement of a light breeze from the hills (summer); the cooling morning mists and light frost which signal the coming of winter (autumn); the bitter iciness of fierce winds and frozen air-in this poem, further compared with man's ingratitude (winter); the warm rains and southerly winds that melt the ice and bring about new life (spring). Throughout this piece various musical devices are employed to underscore or even interpret the words. These devices include text painting, contrapuntal structures (double canon and fugue), and dramatically shifting harmonic colors as each season unfolds. Peters. The Album Leaves were composed over the span of almost fifteen years. As such, they present a fascinating cross-section of Grieg's pianistic and compositional development. They are arranged in chronological order as follows: Allegro con moto (1864), Allegretto espressivo (1874), Vivace (1876), and Andantino serioso (1878).Having realized some years ago that due to Grieg’s way of writing for the piano, that they would fit wonderfully on two guitars, I began with this set, and then moved onto more of his works, finally transcribing his complete set of 10 books of Lyric Pieces (66 pieces in all), all of which are available as separate publications at Les Productions D’Oz. I started composing this single-movement sonata for guitar on October 29, 2016 and completed it on May 11, 2018.  As the title says, this is an homage to Stevie Wonder, one of my musical heroes. This is a roughly 12-minute single-movement that has original themes inspired by the chord changes from the synth break to Stevie Wonder's Living for the City.  The work is primarly in standard tuning but the performer must switch to the tuning E flat, A, D, G, B flat, E flat in the final page.  The sonata may be played on classical, electric or acoustic guitar. Although this is not indicated in the published score between measures 236 and 260 you can introduce embellishments and four-measure cadenzas. I suggest inserted cadenzas between measures 255 and 256 as well as between measures 259 and 260.
