String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.526102 By Aerosmith. By Steven Tyler and Steven Victor Tallarico. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Pop,Rock. 18 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #4801352. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.526102). I've loved this song for a long time, so you can imagine how happy I was when I was hired as the cellist for Aerosmith's Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas residency -- getting to perform this song numerous times with the band themselves has been an amazing experience! This arrangement of Dream On truly does the original justice, with all the soaring melodies, dark harmonies, and fun guitar riffs of the original (modified to be more string-friendly, of course). I guarantee you'll have a LOT of fun rocking out on this with your string quartet! Rated advanced-intermediate for a few tricky figures and some occasional weird rhythms, but this will definitely be sightreadable for professionals and learnable for students. Sarah “Cellobat†Chaffee is an in-demand acoustic & electric cellist and string arranger. Currently, she performs with legendary rock band Aerosmith in their “Deuces Are Wild†residency show, and she is the principal cellist for the Raiders House Band, playing for a crowd of 60,000 at all of the team's home games. She also plays with many other groups including Premiere Wedding Music, Bella Electric Strings, the Femmes Of Rock, and David Perrico’s Pop Strings Orchestra. Sarah has performed and recorded with numerous other artists including Disturbed, Mötley Crüe, Celine Dion, Halsey, Michael Bublé, Sarah Brightman, and Lady A. She is the exclusive arranger for a number of award-winning wedding and event companies all across the United States, including Premiere Wedding Music, Las Vegas Music Oasis, and Impulse Strings, and she has created custom arrangements for many other ensembles all over the world. Flute,Guitar,Instrumental Duet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1345929 By The Smiths. By Johnny Marr and Steven Morrissey. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Pop. 12 pages. Derek Hasted #930830. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.1345929). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (The Smiths) - accessible piece for FLUTE and GUITARIntended for classical or acoustic guitar, though sometimes it gets listed erroneously under electric guitar. The guitar part is supplied in “Notation only†and “Notation + TABâ€Derek Hasted writes This song burst back into my consciousness when it was played as a Viennese Waltz in the BBC TV program “Strictly Come Dancingâ€.The ponderous, downbeat, original became light, inspiring, uplifting and very beautiful. Here’s the version that was on TV - the same key as the original but slightly shorter. The flute takes the tune, the guitar (with the bottom string tuned to D) takes the accompaniment. It’s ideal for an inexperienced duo - the tune, believe it or not, only uses 5 different notes! The use of 6=D tuning for the guitar dramatically reduces the number of barré chords and makes the guitar part much easier on the left hand.I hope you enjoy playing this piece! This is one of a large and growing range of accessible ensembles from experienced arranger Derek Hasted, and is supplied as full score and parts. Derek's website at www.derek-hasted.co.uk/smp lists all his arrangements by title and by number of instruments, with links to soundclips and sample score.
