String Quartet String Quartet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.938920 Composed by Ira J. Mowitz. Baroque,Contemporary,R & B,Standards. Score and parts. 9 pages. Ira Mowitz #58815. Published by Ira Mowitz (A0.938920). MINUET NO THREE!!! started out as an interesting cello part for my son to play with a classmate who was playing the violin Suzuki Book piece Minuet No. 3. Zachary, my son asked, me Papa, why is it called Minuet no three? And thus an idea for a title was born. The duet grew to a cello trio, a cello and viola quartet, to a string quartet and eventually to string orchestra and a full limited-instruments orchestra. This piece is available in a strings only version and in an expanded orchestral version. I am also willing to make a custom-tailored arrangement for your particular ensemble's instrumentation. Just email me and ask, iramowitz@gmail.com.

String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1211716 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Diego Marani. Baroque,Classical,Instructional,Standards,Wedding. 9 pages. Diego Marani #809330. Published by Diego Marani (A0.1211716). The Oboe Concerto in D minor, S D935, is an early 18th-century concerto for oboe, strings and continuo attributed to the Venetian composer Alessandro Marcello. The earliest extant manuscript containing Johann Sebastian Bach's solo keyboard arrangement of the concerto, BWV 974, dates from around 1715.Bach's keyboard version was published as an arrangement of a concerto by Antonio Vivaldi in the 19th century. In 1923 the C minor version of the oboe concerto was published as a composition by Benedetto Marcello, Alessandro's brother. In the second half of the 20th century several publications indicated Alessandro again as the composer of the piece, as it had been in its early 18th-century print, and the oboe concerto was again published in its D minor version. This arrangement for string quartet (Violin I, Violin II, Viola and Cello) of the marvelous second movement (adagio) of the concerto is suitable for any occasion.

String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.745312 Composed by P. I. Tchaikovsky. Arranged by Diego Marani. Classical,Contest,Festival,Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and parts. 23 pages. Diego Marani #353325. Published by Diego Marani (A0.745312). Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings in C Major was written with an ear towards one of his idols, a certain 18th century composer by the name of Mozart. The title and structure of the piece are taken from the serenades of the latter, though this is certainly Tchaikovsky's own particularly 19th century rendering of these older ideas. That it is a masterful work, is demonstrated by the fact that it still remains among the most performed and appreciated by the public alongside the serenades by Antonín Dvořák and Josef Suk. Cast in a classical four movement outlay, the work begins with a sonata form movement (Tchaikovsky calls it a sonatina, i.e. little sonata, though it is a rather robust form, replete with a slow introduction and full development). This arrangement for string quartet (Violin I, Violin II, Viola, Cello) reflects faithfully the original and is suitable for classroom, repertoire and recital.

String Quartet String Quartet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1171870 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Ander. Classical,Instructional,Opera,Romantic Period,Traditional. 14 pages. Woods Only, Arrangements #772147. Published by Woods Only, Arrangements (A0.1171870). This adaptation was intended for a small group of string quartet, where the original essence of the piece was kept, however, with a reduction in the duration, where only the main themes of the opening were extracted. As it is simplified, it is intended for beginner students of instrumental music who want to enter orchestral music, even in a simplified and reduced form, and can be used by music teachers with their students in ensemble practice in situations such as academic recitals, didactic concerts, or assessment tests. The Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67, known as the Symphony of Destiny, by Ludwig van Beethoven, written between 1804 and 1808, is one of the most popular and best known compositions in the entire repertoire of European music. The four movements are characterized by orchestral homogeneity, being, at the same time, an example of alternation: the first movement, revealing great tension, denounced by the strings and raised to an extreme drama; the second movement reveals solemnity, in a funeral march that rises by its emotion and beauty; the third movement, a crispness; the fourth movement expresses triumph and magnificence.
