This is a lively festive dance that was originally composed by Henry Purcell who lived in the 17th century. It soundsvery folk-like and it's possible he heard it being played by a band and decided to formally write it down.I took the original music and added a section to it that I composed which sounds stylistically right to give it a bit more length. This musicis great for wedding recessional or just if you want a lively background music piece for your reception or gig it is fun to play. I also did a string quartetarrangement and you will find that on SMP as well.
