Full Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1322867 Composed by Malcolm D Robertson. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary. 111 pages. Mr Malcolm D Robertson #911135. Published by Mr Malcolm D Robertson (A0.1322867). Composed between the end of December 2022 & the start of July 2023. The Symphony is in 4 movements following a more classical ordering and is a little under 35 minutes in length. The initial rising scale idea with 'missing' notes pervades much of the material in the symphony The symphony took longer to compose than is normal for me as it was composed during the difficult period of my father's swiftly evolving final illness, death & dealing with the aftermath. The shadow of my father's final illness & witnessing his swift decline particularly hangs over the slow 2nd movement. The first movement after a broad but forward moving introduction, is energetic with a continual forward momentum. The 3rd movement is a deliberately elusive scherzo movement with a strange inconclusive coda. The finale, after a reserved opening is surprisingly optimistic pushing to a sonorous conclusion. As is the norm for me, I composed directly into full score.Orchestral parts can be supplied upon request.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.553894 Composed by Joseph Haydn/Leopold Mozart. Arranged by Ray Thompson. Children,Christmas,Classical,Standards. 35 pages. RayThompsonMusic #6050327. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.553894). This work was long reputed to be the work of Joseph Haydn, but later scholarship suggested that it was actually written by Leopold Mozart. Its authorship is still disputed, however, and other composers have been proposed as the symphony's true author, including Joseph Haydn's younger brother Michael Haydn, who purportedly contributed movements to the work.Recent research on a newly found manuscript suggests the Austrian Benedictine monk Edmund Angerer (1740–1794) to be the author. If Angerer's manuscript (from 1765, entitled Berchtolds-Gaden Musick) is the original, the Toy Symphony was originally written not in G but rather in C. These findings, however, are disputed among scholars. There is reason to believe that the true composer will likely never be known, in whole or in part, given its confused origins and the paucity of related manuscript sources.Even without a name attached to it, the piece has become a mainstay for children's shows and Christmastime concerts. Each of its three movements features the sounds of actual toys and instruments that sound like they came straight from Geppetto's workshop. The piece calls for a toy trumpet, ratchet, nightingale, cuckoo, drum, and triangle. ( A quail makes it’s only appearance in the 2nd movement.Noisemakers rattle throughout the first of its three movements. The cuckoo and trumpet  call out mischievously during the minuetto of the second movement , and a quail joins the nightingale in the trio. In the short third mvt which is played 3 times, they all play again, each repeat faster than the previous one.The presence of the toy instruments make this a fun piece for children to play, especially when there are also some toys waiting under the tree.My arrangement is based on the Kinder-Symphonie attributed to Leopold Mozart. It is scored in C.It is in 3 mvts and is arranged for wind quintet, and toy percussion. It can be peformed as a stand alone  wind quintet without percussion as all of the important cues (the trumpet and cuckoo) are written in to the instrumnt parts.i have distributed the original strings around the woodwind, and composed an original classical horn part.Sometimes known as The Children’s SymphonyAlso available as a wind dectet/bass arrangement.

Easy Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1108325 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Robert Luke Thompson. 19th Century,Classical,Folk,Instructional,Traditional. Score. 3 pages. Monkspath Music #710958. Published by Monkspath Music (A0.1108325). Completed in 1824, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony is one of the composer’s most famous works and is frequently performed by orchestras and choir around the word. It is notable for several reasons including being completed at a time when Beethoven was almost completely deaf, and being the first time a major composer had used voices in a symphony. Much like his earlier works, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony would become a highly influential and popular piece of music. The text ‘Ode to Joy’ (‘An die Freude’ in the original German) is adapted from the ode written in 1785 by German poet and playwright Friedrich Schiller, and features prominently in the final fourth movement. This arrangement of the ‘Ode to Joy’ theme, for solo piano, is perfect for beginners who would like to perform this well-known piece. The right hand is solely in 5 finger position, with the left hand having a slightly wider, but easily manageable range. Fingering suggestions have been made, but as always, they are only a guide and performers should use suitable fingering for them. Ideal for absolute beginners, pupils preparing for their ABRSM prep test or early grade exams (Initial Grade, Grade 1, Grade 2), or anyone looking for an accessible, but pleasing arrangement of this excellent piece. Arranged by Diego Marani. Classical,Concert,Instructional,Standards. 22 pages. Diego Marani #5221599. Published by Diego Marani (A0.528191). The Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92, is a symphony in four movements composed by Ludwig van Beethoven between 1811 and 1812. At its premiere, Beethoven was noted as remarking that it was one of his best works. The second movement, Allegretto, was the most popular movement and had to be encored. The instant popularity of the Allegretto resulted in its frequent performance separate from the complete symphony. This arrangement for sax quartet includes the following parts: Bb Soprano, Eb Alto, Bb Tenor, Eb Baritone. It is a fantastic way to celebrate Beethoven's 250th birthday.
