The piece uses several body percussion techniques: step, a palm drag on the thighs (using both hands) and a pat on the thigh. It also uses choral folders as percussion instruments. The folder techniques are: closing the folder, opening the folder, tapping the folder on the knees and dropping the folder on the floor. A choral sigh is also included at the end of the piece.
