Alternatively, a Bb Flugelhorn part is included that could turn this into a mixed brass ensemble without as significant of a range requirement. The 2nd and 3rd parts shouldn’t pose nearly so much of a range challenge but still briefly ascend to Ab and F# respectively. This hopeful and introspective piece will make a fine addition as an inspirational ballad on your quartet program!
