Trombone Duet Trombone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.734445 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Dennis Ruello. Christmas,Classical,Contemporary,Easter,Romantic Period. Score. 2 pages. Chicory Music #5766267. Published by Chicory Music (A0.734445). Ode to Joy is best known for its use by Ludwig van Beethoven in the final (fourth) movement of his Ninth Symphony, completed in 1824. Beethoven's text is not based entirely on Schiller's poem, and introduces a few new sections. His tune (but not Schiller's words) was adopted as the Anthem of Europe. This Trombone Duet takes this famous melody through three keys. (Eb, F, and G) Both parts have an equal share of the theme.

Trombone Duet Trombone - Advanced Intermediate - Digital Download SKU: A0.508499 Arranged by Eric Burger Music. Romantic Period. Score. 6 pages. Published by Eric Burger Music (A0.508499). Friedrich August Belcke (1795–1874) was a celebrated trombonist in Berlin in the 19th century. In 1815, after two solos with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, Belcke had a 30-year career as a trombone soloist. In 1819 a critic admired a concert given by Belcke in Leipzig for its clarity and precision, distinctness and pleasing sound, plus something truly noble in the imposing trombonistic figurations, as well as astonishing skill in that which is not idiomatic to the instrument - for example, rapid passages, cantabile, trills, etc.

Gordon Cherry #4804629. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.792330). In dulci jubilo is an ancient traditional Christmas carol that first appeared around 1400 in Germany. Lisa Albrecht’s beautiful arrangement for Trombone quartet is based on the 1837 setting by Robert Pearsall, the one of the favored by many choirs and their organists. The melody was so popular that many composers have tried their hand at arranging it including Buxtehude, Bach, Liszt and Dello Joio. This arrangement of about 3 minutes can be performed by intermediate to advanced players. Trombone I is in tenor clef and the rest of the parts are in bass clef and can be performed by intermediate level players.
